Jake came and done the inspection. He was very knowledgeable and explained every detail about our project and everything they were going to be doing with our foundation and crawlspace. Dakota, the foreman, kept us informed. The crew doing the install/repairs did an Amazing job. We would recommend AFS to anyone! Definitely worth the call and trusting them with our home! 10/10 isn’t enough for them!

We had a problem with mold and moisture in our crawlspace that caused serious problems with my respiratory condition. A year ago we contracted a service that charged us a lot for what turned out to be a very bad job that left us with even more problems. We decided to seek bids to finally address the problem. We chose AFS because their representative, Alan McConnell, took time to evaluate the crawlspace and carefully explained what needed to be done. It was a multistage operation with Alan and AFS Crew Chief Sebastian coordinating with our electrician and HVAC contractor to get the job done in a timely way. Sebastian kept us informed of progress every step of the way. They left everything clean neat. We are very pleased with the results. You need to seek no further than AFS if you need a remedy for mold and moisture in your crawlspace. Thank you to our new friends Alan, Sebastian and crew, and AFS! Although we have yet to get work done to our home, we’ve been grateful for AFS providing free, specific in-depth estimates, & providing options with financing. As first-time young homeowners to a pretty old home, we are learning how to navigate big home maintenance expenses. Alan McConnell has been such a great help to us so far with the knowledge that he brings! He’s very transparent & has offered us helpful alternatives that we’ve been able to do ourselves to help alleviate further issues. DO NOT SECOND GUESS AFS, JUST DO IT! I purchased an as-is rehab in Somerset, KY. The real problems started when I had the plumbing done. From the 10 inch crawlspace I could see "sister joisting" which turned out to be scab joisting. The plumber refused to go under the house so we pulled the 7 ft old kitchen base cabinet. There had been a leak so bad it had rotted the floor, the joist ends, sealing plate, part of the original siding and was a complete disaster. I called AFS and the inspector Terry Stickler told me we had to cut the floor out and re-joist from the main load bearing joist and replace the ceiling plate. I tried another company who said they could not beat the price and I had to remove the floor myself. I called Terry and accepted his offer. This is your SAFE bet with dealing with crawlspace repair. Terry is on target from diagnosis and able to build quick rapport. The crew he sent, Eric, Kayode and Trevor are the fastest and most intelligent crew I have ever seen. I could not believe what I witnessed. They removed all existing and new debris! I am no homebuilder but I can tell everything they did is solid. They are lazer-focused and did not make 1 wrong cut. They even called this morning to see if I was satisfied and had any questions. Foundation is not something I wanted done wrong and I TRUST they did it right. I recommend AFS if you want the job done right by professionals from beginning to end!!
