AAA Hawaii

Parking along the building and in the middle with a height restriction of 7’6”, but my racks touched the inside hanging plastic height marker. Walked into AAA from Nimitz entrance and walked towards the back to the service counter. Inquired about getting my international driving permit and it was done in less than 10 minutes. You fill out the form, they take your picture and make you this little pamphlet for $20! I also saw a black rolling tote bag and asked how I could get one of them. So I ended up waiting a bit to speak with an agent and the gave me an auto insurance quote and I was able to get the tote, for free! Overall awesome and friendly service! Mahalo!

Called for a tow and waited 2.5 hours to get a van for jump start instead. He couldn’t jump start it and it was already 8pm in a dark & deserted park and Yun , the driver from Osung, said it was my starter. Then he said we could get towed but it would be another 3 hours. This is an island!!! Left me stranded. I got a ride from my daughter and left car with a note hoping that it would not be broken into overnight. Returned for my vehicle the next morning and installed a new battery myself and that was all it was! I drove the vehicle home with no issues. I will not be renewing my membership. What a joke. If you think that you can get roadside assistance from these jokers you’re in for a big letdown. Rate ‘F’ for roadside assistance

We’ve been AAA members for over 25 years here in Hawaii and the customer service is always top notch! Hubby bought the roadside service for me cause I use to lock my keys in my car. Recently changed our car insurance over to AAA too. Our experience with everyone from the tow truck drivers to office staff has been excellent!!! Christie has been such a comfort whenever I call to ask questions or need any other assistance. She never makes me feel rushed when asking questions. Whenever we needed roadside service (lock out, a jump, new battery), the drivers were always so courteous. I recently called to take advantage of their travel department and met Kalehua! I had a hard time doing it online and was already stressed when I called. She took care of all our arrangements, and even called back to see how everything went. She took away my stress and gave me piece of mind. We’ve been blessed to only have had great experiences with AAA. Mahalo Gang!

I always feel good walking into the AAA office, and even better walking out. it’s almost always in the middle of my hot town scrambling before a trip, and the shaded parking, nice (but not pushy) staff and cool A/C calm my nerves a lot. I went in today for passport photos, and was out of there in half an hour with photos, an expedited application, and an International Driverʻs Permit - so easy! I use a lot of tows, so membership is absolutely financially worth it. Tried tow service through my insurance, but the quality and speed of service just did not compare. Luckily i overlapped them, and called AAA while waiting endlessly for the other guys. They had me home before I even got a time estimate from my insurance, and helped me with a lot more. I have not been going into the office as much becsuse online maps have fulfilled a lot of my previous reasons, but when i went in today I remembered how much I like them! This location earns 5 stars for sure!
