Terrible customer service. I schedule a pickup and have everything all set up and they don’t show. I called multiple times and am told don’t worry the driver will call. They didn’t and I had to reach back out a 3rd time to be told they have to push it back a day. Half way through my rental they increased my monthly cost. And now to top it all off they are stating they will not pro rate my rental and refund me for the remainder of the rental term. Because I called a week after my “billing date” that I get charged for the whole month. No one said that when I scheduled pickup. Otherwise I would have kept it for an extra 20 days. When talking to billing I was told sorry it’s in your contract and when I asked if they could do a partial refund as a courtesy I was told “no,we treat all out customers the same”. After making 2,500 dollars off of me you would think the company could spare the 200 bucks. Next time I have a storage need I will not be using pack rat

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. We gave them very clear and reasonable instructions. Where to place the storage unit. What side we need the doors on, etc. The driver Jamie decided he didn't feel like swapping the doors to the cab so he made up an excuse. Parked the entire unit on the grass when instructed to have it on the driveway. Killed the grass. During delivery, the container was damaged due to driver error. Carrying a sharp metal bracket to be exposed and also exposed the entire inner unit. Was told "here's a roll of duct tape, fix it yourself" After we told them we were extremely displeased, the delivery driver proceed to made my girlfriend feel extremely uncomfortable with several different comments to a point where she walked inside to get away. Called customer service SEVERAL times, spoke with Kaylee and Ayden. Kaylee proceed to hang up on me because she didn't have a resolution to the several issues listed above. Ayden provided zero customer service. Was charged full price. Several phone calls later and hours later on the phone. Nothing was resolved. The unit was picked up this afternoon and the first response from the pickup driver - "wow I'm shocked the delivery driver left this" SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY ON A POD. THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST! They don't care at all. Wish I could give them zero stars.

Doesn’t even deserve a single star. The WORST company to do business with!!! I ordered a 16ft container and the driver (Jamie) brought me one which was already damaged. He then tried to fix it by taping the side of it shut. Not to mention he placed it in the wrong spot with the doors facing in the incorrect direction. Oh and he was a total CREEP! Customer service was of no help. They told me I couldn’t have a new container delivered for a week and that if my $15k worth of furniture inside the container was to be damaged during that time by weather or any animals which could now get in, they would not be responsible for that either. Customer service then insisted they would take $100 off for the inconvenience of the entire experience. Nope! They charged me the full price. I could go on and on but I won’t. Save yourself the frustration and choose PODS instead!!

Had a recent move from Florida to Massachusetts. I only had about two rooms to move so I got a 8X8 container which fit everything perfectly. Plus a little extra room. I filled a queen size bed, dresser, and a bunch on plastic bins and boxes. The drivers were very courteous and professional. The only thing was the long wait time to speak to a representative( they do give the option for them to call you back) which I did and they called back in a timely manner. The representatives were very nice and friendly. You are able to schedule your pickup and drop off times to your desired dates. And the drivers call you an hour before they arrive. The unit was clean and my belongings came unharmed. I would definitely recommend Pack Rat! They also price match and was the cheapest route to go. Thank you for making my move less stressful.

I think people should be aware of this company. Back in May (it is now September), I hired their storage and moving services for our cross-country move. The process of calling and setting things up was smooth and promising. I opted for their packing services add-on for both ends of the trip, which they set up and had their outsourced company call me to set a date to pack and then unpack upon arrival. When I arrived at our new place, the containers were supposed to arrive that Friday after, but instead arrived two weeks after my living in an empty house. I realize supply chains are backed up right now, but no one called during those two weeks to tell me it would be late. When they finally did call, I was told that the truck my container was on had been broken down on the interstate somewhere for a few days. But no one communicated that to me in the meantime. When it did finally arrive, it was evident that the packers had not even attempted strategy during their packing, and as things sat in this mess, my items had broken. They stacked boxes on top of my dining table, which is metal, and it tipped and broke in half. My shelving unit was completely broken. My grandmother’s bedside tables, which were passed onto me and made of real wood, had scratches and a big shard of one had just completely fell off. They placed so much on my couch without any packing materials that the load bearing piece of wood on the bottom broke in half. I took pictures and sent them to claims. They said it would take 90 days to respond. 90 days. After checking in twice during that time, and receiving boilerplate responses, they finally got back to me on the 90th day with a lengthy email explaining this was the packers’ fault and I should contact that company to submit a claim. The packers 1800 Pack Rat set my account up with. They would not be reimbursing me for ANY of my items. A word of caution: do NOT use this company if you would like your things to be cared for while it is their responsibility to do so and don’t expect any communication.
