Yelena's Educational Place LLC

My preschool daughter has been at Mrs. Yelena's Educational Place for almost two years now and we could not be happier with the love and care that she has received. Before finding Mrs. Yelena we visited multiple day care centers, we never liked the place, the people or simply we did not feel comfortable with the setting. (As first time parents we were nervous). When we first visited Mrs. Yelena we knew, we knew right away, we had found a place where our daughter could play, learn and grow. It felt like, and it is for our daughter, a home away from home. The small group really allows Mrs. Yelena to focus on the kids and their growth, our daughter, learned to clean up after herself, snack time and sharing, gave up the diaper, started napping (she only naps during the week, not on weekends), playing with other kids, climbing, painting, snow, new songs, English! She started singing all out and expressing herself in so many creative new ways. Every so often you meet people that have found their calling, when you meet Mrs. Yelena you can tell she is doing what she loves to do. She is a great educator, with so much warmth and kindness. Every single day the kids are playing with something new to stimulate a new sense, or new songs, or planting trees. A beautiful place and environment for kids to grow in. I highly recommend Mrs. Yelena's Educational place in West Hartford and Mrs. Yelena, if anything everyone who cares about their kids should visit her place to see what a loving and nurturing environment looks like.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Yelena and her caring, engaging, educational preschool. My daughter has spent two incredible years with Yelena, who is an outstanding, dedicated and loving early education teacher. Yelena has fostered my daughter’s creativity, curiosity and passion for learning, while helping her to grow her independence and social skills. I really appreciated the daily emotional regulation learning, which, as a mother of four, I wish was incorporated more into my other children’s early learning experience. I really appreciated the smaller class size, because it allowed for more personalized attention and support. Yelena’s hands-on learning activities really boost little one’s curiosity; activities like cooking projects to outdoor learning and science experiments which made learning fun and meaningful. Yelena is a dedicated and loving teacher who has a true passion for teaching. It felt so good knowing my daughter was with someone so kind, caring and nurturing Communication was always consistent and very much appreciated. I love the daily pictures and videos of my daughter playing independently and with her classmates. Additionally, Yelena sends out a detailed daily report of what her day was like and includes activities, lunch and snack time. I am incredibly grateful to Yelena for the positive impact she has had on my daughter’s early education and growth. She is entering kindergarten very confident, prepared and excited. I highly recommend Yelena’s Educational Place to any family looking for a loving, supportive and engaging preschool.

Before finding Yelena, we had tried two other daycare centers and were never fully comfortable, my daughter would cry at every drop-off. That all changed when we started sending her to Yelena’s. It felt like leaving our daughter with family, and she looked forward to going there every day. She is now in second grade and still talks fondly about her time there. Our son currently attends Yelena’s and has had the same wonderful experience. Yelena creates a nurturing environment while also following a structured daily routine. She truly cares about the children and the children love her. She provides a safe, warm space where they can thrive. She thoughtfully plans a variety of activities each day that encourage exploration through play. We highly recommend Yelena’s Educational Place to any family looking for a caring and engaging start for their child!

We were so fortunate to discover Yelena’s program. My child attended her school for three years. It is an excellent early-childhood learning environment that felt like a home away from home for our child. Yelena treats you and your child like family. Many years later, we still keep in touch with Yelena and my child talks about fond memories at ‘Teacher Lena’s.’ Any child would be lucky to attend her program. I can confidently say there is no other early-childhood program where my child would have gotten better care. Yelena is the best!!
