Balanced Family Academy 5th Ave

My husband and I sent our son to BFA on 5th Ave when he was just 3 months old. It can be so scary to experience all the unknowns that come with being a first time parent, but the staff at BFA is so incredible and made dropping him off (on the first day and every day) so much easier. It’s a big relief seeing how happy our little boy is with his teachers. They’re truly amazing and I love how they send updates in the CareDay app throughout the day so I feel like I’m never missing a beat. The curriculum is unmatched, the facilities are pristine, there are included amenities like food, diapers and wipes, and the staff is always planning extra activities and programming. Highly recommend BFA!

We have been at BFA Grandview for 9 months now and I can say that dropping my child off there feels like I’m dropping her off with family. As a new mom going back to work, they really put me at ease with their constant updates. And now as my child is older and eating solids I love the fresh made food she gets there every day! Makes my day so much easier to know she is safe, happy and getting fed well!

We absolutely loved sending our daughter here and we are so bummed that we can’t take them with us on our move. As first time parents, we were nervous about sending our first child to daycare, but from the start they were incredible. We were always kept up to date on our daughter throughout the day and if we ever had any questions they would get back to us as soon as they could. The meals they serve the kids are great and so are all the activities they do with them. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for taking such good care of our daughter!

BFA has been an absolute dream come true for our family. As a first-time mom transitioning my child from being home with me and family members, I was nervous, but the Bear Classroom and its incredible teachers made the process completely seamless. From the very first day, I’ve felt nothing but trust, peace of mind, and genuine joy knowing my child is in such capable, caring hands. The teachers go above and beyond every single day. Their communication is excellent! We receive daily updates and the sweetest photos, which make such a difference during a busy workday. I can tell my child is not just being cared for, but truly learning, exploring, and thriving. They focus on developmental milestones, sensory activities, and social-emotional growth, and it’s so clear they care deeply about every child in their class. I honestly can’t say enough good things about the Bear Classroom and BFA as a whole. The administrators go above and beyond and make an effort to get to know you and your family and your specific needs. They’ve helped my child blossom, and they’ve given me the confidence and support I needed to return to work. I would recommend BFA to any parent—especially those feeling anxious about daycare for the first time. This place is truly something special.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience with BFA. Between the teachers, Care Day updates and the facility we've been more than impressed. There's a great energy and warmth about BFA and we've felt so at home dropping our 4mo daughter off each day. I can tell her teachers truly care about her. She lights up at drop off... that alone is all I need to know she's in good hands.
