Whimsy and Wonder Preschool

Our daughter attended Whimsy & Wonder for 4 years, from September 2021-2025. I could not have asked for a better preschool program!! The lead teacher, Heidi, is so caring and conscientious, cooking delicious and nutritious vegetarian meals every day, singing with the kids at circle time, and teaching them valuable skills so they can gain independence naturally and learn to help others. This play-focused, joyful preschool kept our sweet and sensitive kiddo safe and nourished in body and mind. 10/10 no notes!

Have no doubts, Whimsy and Wonder will be a meaningful experience for your child and a boon to the families it serves. I say this in complete confidence due to my knowledge of it's owner/director, Ms. Heidi. I began working in early childhood education back in the early 2000's. Heidi was already managing schools back then and made an impression with me regarding her warmth and care, as well as with her competence in handling the complex challenges of operating a quality childcare program. To this point, when I began to plan and build out my own school program, Golden Apples Preschool, the first person I turned to for counsel was Heidi. I truly believe in her and the work she does.

The Whimsy and Wonder preschool Is fantastic! Heidi is a wonderful educator as well as Director. Her program is child centered and incorporates nature as well as fun and educational activities that foster curiosity and imagination. I can highly recommend Heidi and team of educators. She has excellent communication skills and is supportive of her staff and families. When enrolling your child at the her preschool, you will feel worry free and comforted as your child is in a welcoming and loving environment.

My daughter attended W&W for 3 years (age 2-5) and if we lived closer my son would also attend. Heidi cares so much about these kids, and it really shows in the way everything is run. The amount of outdoor space and time is a big bonus, too. My daughter learned manners, life skills, independence, and lots of songs. I also appreciated the proper full days which were hard to find in childcare for a family with 2 working parents. I cannot recommend W&W enough for anyone looking for a daycare or preschool in the area.

Whimsy and Wonder Preschool has been such a wonderful first school for my daughter. The intention behind every material, experience and routine is incredibly thoughtful to curate a safe, fun, and gorgeous learning environment for all kids. Ms. Heidi also puts a lot of care and attention into healthy and delicious breakfast, snack and lunch. My daughter always raves about the food:) Finally, Ms. Heidi and the other teachers help to foster excellent relationships between kids, teachers and families. My daughter has made some lifelong friends at Whimsy and Wonder!! We are thrilled to be sending our youngest daughter there next year. I highly recommend this preschool!
