STAY AWAY!!! This place is absolutely HORRIBLE! My original appointment time was for 11am for a basic cleaning but they called and asked if I could come in at 10:40am which I agreed to. I arrived a little early and didn't get called in until 11am. The hygienist said that I was due for x-rays so I asked her when was the last time I had them done and she said that she doesn't know so I asked her how she knows they were due and she said because they checked to see if insurance would pay for them and they would. She was horrible with doing the x-rays, had difficulty with the equipment and took forever. An hour in and I still haven't had my teeth cleaned. The hygienist said that we had to wait for the doctor to come in and take a look before she could do anything. After waiting for about 15 minutes the doctor came in and at the same time another staff member came in and made a joke about my hair which didn't sit well with me as I'm already extremely annoyed at this point. All the doctor was interested in was upselling me on services that I didn't need to get more money. After the doctor and hygienist whispered to themselves the hygienist said that I need a different type of cleaning that might not be covered by insurance and that I might have to pay for it out of pocket and asked if I'm ok with that or if she should check with the insurance company to see if they will cover it and if so how much. I asked her to check first. She went to check and came back about 10 minutes later and said that my insurance company will only pay for 50% and that I will have to pay for the difference. I told her that I get my teeth cleaned twice a year and its covered 100% by my insurance company and then I got up and walked out. Even when I checked in they tried to get my consent to an upcharge. This place is all about squeezing every penny out of insurance companies and customers. Besides that the office is loud and unprofessional. The rooms are not stocked well with supplies as they had to come into my room and borrow material for another room. On the way out there was a person sitting in the office on the floor next to the desk just hanging out which I think was a staff member. When I got outside there was a lady that was talking to her mother and was very upset. I asked her if everything was ok and she said that she was just in the same dentist office waiting in the chair for 2 hours to get some work done and they didn't do anything but she paid them $600 out of pocket for the work. I will be calling my insurance company as well to inform them about possible fraudulent charges.

This was my first time visiting this practice and I was very impressed. The staff was kind, attentive and knowledgeable. Dr. Megan Rascius addressed all of my questions and concerns and seemed very genuine and helpful. I will not hesitate to continue to trust her with my dental care moving forward.

In my initial experience with a new dental practic: I have exceptionally sensitive teeth 2nd receding gums, and not only was the hygenist, Angela, personable and likable, but she took great care to avoid hurting me in cleaning my teeth. I also found Jennifer, the receptionist, and dentist, Dr. Rascius, to be wonderfully helpful and professional. I rate WH Dental Group 10/10–just what I’d hoped and prayed for.

I had my first checkup and cleaning with West Hartford Dental Group and was happy with the attention to detail and the kindness the team showed me. They explained everything they were doing and were extremely communicative before and after the appointment. Thankful to find a trustworthy, long term dental team.

I had a really great experience at WeHa Dental. Specifically with the Dentist who came into see me after my cleaning, Meghan Rascius. She was so knowledgeable and helpful about all the questions I had and was able to point out some things with my dental health that I always noticed but never had a dentist point out for me. She also made the effort to even email me certain oral exercises, and inform me how Invisalign would help.
