The pool here is one of the nastiest pool’s I’ve swam in. It’s not clear at all and if you’re actually a swimmer good luck being able to see the wall through the cloud. The gym is full of teenage kids and adults blanking out on their cell phones. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this gym was a nightmare for me.

My partner and I visited using a trial pass and were greeted at the front desk upon arrival. When I mentioned that I had previously held a VASA membership (in a different city), we were informed that prior members are typically not eligible for a trial pass. However, the staff member kindly made an exception so I could explore whether I wanted to rejoin. I appreciated the flexibility, though the interaction itself felt somewhat impersonal. While membership options were briefly explained, we were not given a tour or orientation of the facility. Although I’ve had a membership before, I had never visited this specific location, so I was unfamiliar with the layout, equipment placement, and amenities. A quick walkthrough would have been very helpful. We visited around 3 p.m. on a weekday and expected some level of busyness, but the gym felt extremely crowded. Many machines and workout areas were occupied, which limited our ability to fully utilize the equipment and amenities. The equipment itself is modern and well-maintained, and it was great to see new equipment being installed during our visit. However, the layout felt somewhat congested. The locker rooms were not clearly marked and seemed tucked behind or between equipment areas, making them difficult to locate without guidance. Additionally, some machines were positioned very close together, which made it challenging to move comfortably or stretch without being overly cautious of surrounding equipment. Ultimately, due to the crowd levels and lack of orientation, we decided to leave earlier than planned because we weren’t able to fully enjoy the experience. With improved onboarding for first-time visitors and better flow throughout the space, this location could offer a much stronger overall experience.

Great Gym, But Equipment Hogging Is a Real Problem Let me start by saying I genuinely love this gym. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. If I didn't care about this place, I wouldn't take the time to write this. The 2 stars reflect a member behavior issue that's seriously impacting the workout experience for others. The other day, I needed the assisted chin-up station for weighted chin-ups (part of my strength program). Four members were camped on the machine — three of them on their phones, not even using it, while one person held the spot for the group. I asked how many sets were left and was told the group collectively had 15+ sets remaining. After waiting 10 minutes, the three hadn't touched the machine once. I decided to pivot to cable Lat pulldowns instead, only to find all three cable stations in the same situation — someone would do one set, scroll their phone for 10 minutes, then do another. At that point my body had cooled down completely and I left after only finishing my first exercise. I think a simple fix could make a huge difference. Consider posting visible, permanent signage on all machines with a recommended time limit per member — something like 6 minutes per station during peak hours. Even better, a small timer display or a suggested rest-period reminder would help set expectations. No penalties needed — just awareness. When people waiting can see a guideline, it creates a culture of shared accountability. I know gym etiquette can't be fully enforced, but without some kind of guidance, this will only get worse as membership grows. A fitness center should prioritize people who are there to train. A little structure goes a long way toward making sure everyone gets a fair shot at the equipment. I'd love to keep this as my go-to gym — just hoping management takes steps to improve the experience for all members. Thank You

I’ve been going to this gym for a year and a half, besides that being close to home and opens early closes late has been good. I met really good people that work out even the staff was always friendly. They’re definitely has been some change in staffing due to seeing the bathrooms, out of order or flood of water on the floor due to a toilet Recently. I went in and seen the floors so dirty and sticky, especially for the ones that take a shower and do the pool that’s disgusting. Obviously it’s shown and whoever is there that day how effectively clean these areas are I have noticed the front people have changed which is a bomber because it feels good when a person actually gives conversation meaningful inquiries about You as a person that has changed and it’s sad because the ones that know you and greet you versus the ones that just see you don’t really make eye contact conversation you tell them something they kinda just blank. I can definitely see the change from when I started. There’s either major things that are missed clean this in the women’s restrooms for one two being able to bring a concern and it promptly gets taken care of such as a spill or a member that may not be considering. Recently, there has been a spike in people at the gym this year. It would do better for the company to keep the people or hire people that care about their job. It definitely isn’t how it was when I started to the point that I’m looking at other competitors because if you don’t care about your job I, it tells me your job definitely doesn’t care about you

I just did a studio red class 6:00 am this morning and the instructor was great. She asked me my name and then called me by my name the whole entire time. It was a good workout and I really like the price of the Vasa Fitness. The bathrooms are clean people wipe down the machines. I got this video of the guy doing a good workout and it was a little intimidating though.
