Every single member of this staff is amazing. Jacob is incredible. Knowledgeable, genuine, thoughtful, and patient with explaining everything that I did not know about acupuncture. I can’t articulate the relief that this has given me. I’ve had a fusion surgery on a couple vertebrates in my lower spine, knee surgeries, gone to physical therapy and everything in between. This has hands down been the most beneficial experience I have had and the results are unprecedented. Nothing but a positive experience, and every time I leave this space I feel better than when I entered. Physically and mentally, and emotionally.

Jacob is an awesome acupuncturist. I went to him with acute shoulder pain and his thorough examination plus treatment resulted in a huge change after just one treatment! Jacob has great presence with patients as well as a lot of clinical knowledge and good results! Highly recommend.

Why I chose this clinic**: I had the best consultation of my life here. The intake form was really thorough and when we went through it, it was clear he'd looked it over and was listening to me as we went through it. He explained the TCM basics and I got a sample treatment—all before I had to sign up for a package. Other clinics did not remotely come close to this level of service, education, and care. It's a really friendly low-key environment and the staff is welcoming, humorous, and always so helpful. About the sessions: After a months-long runaround following a major digestive tract infection from traveling and the subsequent IBS-C it caused, I finally found my relief plan with Jacob. Jacob is a kind, good listener with a great sense of humor that could empathize and understand my struggles. During the sessions I buzzed in harmony, and after the sessions, I felt my digestive system was way more settled, even if I'd woken up with bloating or constipation. Not only that, but he explains what he's doing and why, along with herb/supplement/vitamin recommendations and why. And now I have my daily plan and routine based on his recommendations. He would often throw in nice little extras, whether additional needles, giving me more time to "soak," gold needles, or acupressure points for ears. Even if my IBS went away, these sessions would be nice to have for overall wellness. How I felt after 20 sessions: Over the course of 2.5 months, I went from having to use a heating pad for cramps several times a week with low energy and constant IBS issues and worries to being able to seize every day and feel good. I feel equipped to handle what comes my way based on what I learned about acupuncture and herbs/other supplements. These sessions also helped me deepen my wellness practice and understanding more of the connections in my body. I highly recommend Treasure Valley Acupuncture for seasoned acupuncture patients as well as those who are trying for the first time.
