Tiny Findings

Highly recommend! Teachers are attentive and kind, and the community is very welcoming. We had a negative experience at a different center and are so happy to be at Tiny Findings now.

Tiny Findings is an incredible child care center. The staff are professional, thoughtful, and provide a warm and fun environment. The center creates a partnership with each family by providing individualized care. We are so thankful our kids attended this program.

Tiny Findings is a hidden gem. Our son went there for almost two years, the only reason we are leaving is because we are moving out of DC. The staff are wonderful! They really care about the kids and our son has learned so much during his time there from counting to covering his mouth when he coughs! Another great thing about Tiny Findings is the big classrooms that have a lot of square footage, the kids have a large area to play and learn. I also felt very secure with my son there because the daycare is located inside the GAO building, so there were many security guards keeping the building safe. We also appreciated that we could park in the building garage for pickup and drop off. If I could give Tiny Findings 10 stars, I would! Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Tiny Findings. The teachers and staff are friendly, responsive, and provide frequent updates about our child’s day through an app. The teachers are also great about keeping us up to date on developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities that the kids do during the day. The leadership staff is so kind and hands on — they all know our child’s name. Our child is always happy when we pick him up, and he seems to be extremely well cared for. We love Tiny Findings!

Fantastic independently run daycare in the heart of downtown D.C. My wife and I had had a bad experience at a previous daycare with our oldest and were so happy to come across Tiny Findings! Our daughter has been enrolled there since summer of 2021 and our experience as a Tiny Findings family has been wonderful. The staff is dedicated and knowledgeable, and the facilities pristine and well appointed. The infants' classrooms even have separate, dedicated nap rooms where the children can sleep with the lights off and a white noise machine on, which is an infinite improvement over many other centers that simply have cribs in the same room where the other children are playing and making noise. Also nice, the fact that lunch and snacks are provided, for those infants who are eating solid foods. It saves my wife and I at least 30 minutes in the morning not to have to pack a lunch and snacks every day (vegetarian options available for those kids who don't eat meat). Another thing that has set our minds at ease are the strong Covid protocols in place. All staff are fully vaccinated, toys are disinfected after a child has played with them, and anyone who exhibits symptoms must obtain a negative Covid result prior to returning to class. Our old center had no vaccine mandate and no testing/cleanliness protocols in place and experienced several outbreaks. In contrast, since reopening, there has not been a single case among any of the children at Tiny Findings. Best of all are the teachers, who are wonderful and incredibly caring. They genuinely care about our daughter and ensuring not only that she hits all of her developmental milestones, but that she has fun doing so. At our old daycare, our daughter used to cry every day when we dropped her off. Now she cries when we pick her up because she doesn't want to leave. A wonderful center with a phenomenal staff in a convenient downtown location. I truly cannot say enough good things about it.
