The Spa at Norwich Inn

My friend group of 4 had a great time on the hydro massage beds. They’re all in one room so you can hangout with your friends for the entire service! We were all super relaxed afterwards. I highly recommend getting the hydro massage with you’re friends. All of the staff were very professional, helpful, and kind as well!

The service at Kensington's Restaurant was excellent. All the staff were incredibly nice, accommodating, well-organized, end efficient. They were attentive without making us feel rushed. The atmosphere was beautiful and the food was delicious. They gave us a perfect Valentine's Day dinner!

- Perfect location to stay the night for any events at Mohegan Sun. 3 minutes drive, the inn also offers shuttle service upon reservation. Very friendly staffs. Room is clean has all the basic amenities you need. Plenty of parking. I didn’t have the time for a massage at the spa but the reviews all sound great. - For the price of $258/night (tax included) for a standard queen bed, they could’ve at least provide continental breakfast. They have a pub and a restaurant—Kensington, everything is subject to a 21% service charge which I think is a bit absurd. There’s a mandatory $8 resort fee that you’ll have to pay on site on top of the room cost, which does include water bottles in the room. This should be optional. - It’s an old inn, so sound does travel pretty good. I could hear everything that came from the room next door and above. Those guests were up very late at night, and woke before the sun even came up. - Thermostat in my room wouldn’t go over 70 degrees. It was freezing. To be fair I could’ve asked for a different room but I was too tired to move.

100% worth the money and trip. This hotel met and exceeded all my expectations. The room was spacious, clean, and continuously stocked / cleaned by the staff. The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful. (I will say I wish there were more options on the menu and it was pretty pricey but that was expected). For the spa, there is a co-ed pool area, juice bar, and relaxation room where you can relax and take naps on comfy lounge couches with fluffy blankets. Then for the women’s area there is a hot tub, sauna, vanity area, locker rooms, and showers. As a hotel guest you can access the spa for free. You can also sign up for massages, facials, manicures/pedicures, etc (these are not included if you are a hotel guest, I will say they are really expensive, but a great way to pamper yourself). The service was amazing and the workers were very kind and attentive. I am so glad I stayed here it was such an amazing experience!

This review relates only to the Thanksgiving dinner my wife and I enjoyed last week. We did not stay over Our two sons that live in Rhode Island in the area were headed for dinner in Massachusetts with their wife's families and we decided to find an Inn serving Thanksgiving dinner. I've driven past the spa at Norwich Inn a few times and always wanted to see the inside, so thought of Kensington's restaurant at the Inn. The hostess was personable and seating was immediate (not always the case on busy days). Our wait person arrived and gave us the layout for the buffet and took our drink order. The buffet offered an appetizer station, a wonderful array of side dishes, two carving stations (turkey and Prime rib), and a dessert area. From the cocktail shrimp to the excellent cheesecake every dish I ate was over the top good. There were five protein dishes, beef, turkey, chicken, pork and a shrimp casserole. I did the white meat turkey (moist and tender) and the pork loin. My wife had the shrimp casserole and white and dark meat turkey. Sides were amazing also, two stuffings (Veg. and sausage), greenbeans, Brussel sprouts, squash, three green salads (the Caesar salad was fantastic) , mashed potatoes. etc. Each dish was excellent, the waitress was attentive and friendly, cocktails were mixed well and reasonably priced. We were most favorably impressed and will plan a family visit with our sons, and daughters -in-law for mothers day.
