I went in for a massage yesterday and had a disappointing experience with how the service was explained and upsold. At the start, my therapist took my arm and demonstrated what she called “Swedish massage” by barely touching my arm, then pressed a little harder and said that was “deep tissue.” I told her I didn’t want anything too hard, but she kept insisting deep tissue was what I wanted. When I finally agreed, she told me it would be an extra $40. I get massages regularly, so I know Swedish massage does not mean an extremely light, barely there touch. The issue wasn’t the extra cost, it was the way this felt like a misleading setup to push an upgrade. If the staff are properly trained, they should understand the actual differences between Swedish and deep tissue, or the menu should clearly reflect what their services really involve. The massage itself was okay overall, but there were moments where she applied firm pressure in areas with lymph nodes, which shouldn’t be pressed aggressively. That made me question the level of training and technique. When they asked how everything was at the end, I said it was good because I’m not a confrontational person, but thinking back on it, the experience was upsetting and left a bad impression. I will say the receptionist was very kind and the therapist herself was polite, but the upselling approach and questionable technique outweighed the positives for me. I’m honestly surprised by the high rating.

Today was my first time at The Salt Room Summerlin. I wanted to try the halotherapy. It was very relaxing and I could feel a difference in my breathing after the session. I was a bit concerned as I am very claustrophobic…but the room was large enough that it was not an issue. The staff seemed pleasant and the facility was very clean! I will definitely be going back for additional sessions, as well as attending some of the classes offered!

I just had my first 50-minute massage there, and it was excellent. The ambience was warm, inviting, relaxing, and soothing. My massage therapist had years of experience and was incredibly thorough from head to toe. She understood my body well, had a great touch, and worked my back, glutes, and hamstrings in a very scientific way that really improved blood flow. Overall, it’s a high-quality spa, and I’ll definitely be returning—especially for a facial in the future. 👍

I’ve done multiple massages (cleansing, couples, madero) and utilize their salt cave room quite often. It’s a clean, cool and quiet space. All the rooms I’ve been in are peaceful and gorgeous. they definitely took care in setting up the establishment. Prices seem pretty reasonable as well, including the classes. Would highly recommend the salt room if you have respiratory issues like a cough

Located at Village Center in Summerlin. From the call to book our appointment with Lauren, to our Esthetician Didi and finally our massage with Linda…it was great! 👍🏻 The Halotherapy Room was very interesting and I did feel energized and relaxed after my session. My friend and I purchased the 3 Hour Special which consist of Facial, massage and Halotherapy room for $239.00 plus tip. We will definitely be back.
