I had a truly beautiful experience at The Peninsula Spa in New York. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt calm, refined, and thoughtfully designed to help you disconnect from the energy of the city. We were welcomed with warm ginger tea, which set the tone for the entire visit and made the experience feel intentional from the very beginning. The space itself is stunning, with warm woods, soft amber tones, and organic textures that create a serene sanctuary in the heart of Manhattan. The spa, designed by Alexandra Champalimaud, blends elegance and comfort effortlessly. The pool area in particular is breathtaking, with bamboo floors, teak columns, and a peaceful ambiance that feels worlds away from Fifth Avenue. Every detail, from the relaxation areas to the wellness facilities, is curated to enhance the guest experience from start to finish. The service was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which made the visit even more special. A true oasis above the city and one of the most luxurious and calming spa experiences in NYC. Highly recommend for anyone looking for wellness, tranquility, and timeless luxury at The Peninsula New York.

Lisa is extraordinary. I first saw her at The Peninsula during one of the most difficult periods of my life, and what she did went far beyond a massage. She completely reset my body - tension I had been carrying for months (maybe years) finally released. Her touch is intuitive, precise, and deeply therapeutic. I’ve tried seeing other therapists since, and no one comes close. If you have the chance to book with her, do it - she’s truly exceptional.

I try to get in to see Lisa whenever I can - ideally after work before heading out for the night. I usually walk in carrying a full day of work stress in my shoulders and back, and I leave without it. Her work is next level. This isn’t a typical spa massage; it’s serious bodywork. She knows exactly where the tension is coming from and fixes it. I walk out feeling reset, mobile, and ready to go. Hands down the best I’ve found.

Lisa delivers one of the most effective massages I’ve ever experienced. As a performer, my body is part of my instrument, and she has an incredible understanding of tension, alignment, and how to truly reset you - not just relax you. Whether I need deeper corrective work or just a full unwind, she adjusts seamlessly. I walk out feeling lighter, looser, and completely recharged. If you’re thinking about booking something special or investing in yourself, she’s exceptional - the perfect treat for you or someone you love.

Start your entry from across the street, the architecture is admirable. The polite doorman opens the door to a grand staircase, go to the 21st floor where you are welcomed by a knowledgeable and friendly team. I was scheduled for a facial & foot reflexology combo, and a 90 minute massage. 1. The combo was bliss, Janine was professional, asked questions for safety/comfort and gave great tips for after. I loved the “vacuum” part. David is a veteran massage therapist and very aware and respectful of pressure request. He did the reflexology and also the 90 min massage. I encourage asking for him, he is very professional. 2. The space is calm, quiet, peacefully dark and dim which felt very relaxing. They have nice showers, a steam & dry sauna w/ ice chips if you so desire to cool you off. A vanity room with any toiletry you might need. If you have time, go to the 22nd floor and enjoy the pool and the view! I will be back for certain!
