The Goddard School of Philadelphia - 22nd and Pine

We have been going to Goddard since my son was 3 months. The teachers are great, my son is happy every single day going to school and seeing his teachers. The staff is super communicative and on top of stuff. We are very happy with it.

I have had four children go through Goddard with Jillie and Jon at the helm- with the last one currently in pre-k. Each of my children is different but each has thrived in the Goddard environment and with the teachers that are all so invested in the success of the kids. My children are/were always excited to go to school and came home with a lot of stories about what they learned or did every day. I just wanted a safe place for my kids to go to daycare but found not just a safe place that would care for my children but a community that helped them learn and grow.

The facility is well-run, beautiful, and welcoming! Parent communications are timely and clear. My daughter has attended full time since infancy, she's now two years old, and all of the teachers she's had have been consistent and phenomenal - we feel confident dropping off everyday and know that our daughter is having the best time because of the 6+ pictures and videos we get throughout the day. There are also lots of events and things to be a part of which exemplify the strong community the school has established. Love being part of this Goddard family!

Our family absolutely loved our time at The Goddard School of Philadelphia on Pine and the Annex. From the very beginning, the teachers and staff made Max and Mina feel welcomed, supported, and excited to learn. We were continually impressed by how much they grew, both academically and socially. Their teachers were incredibly caring and patient, always creating a fun, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment. It was wonderful to see both kids come home eager to share what they had learned each day, whether it was new vocabulary, science projects, art activities, or lessons about kindness and teamwork. We also appreciated the school’s strong communication, organization, and the sense of community they built among families. It truly felt like a second home for our children. We would highly recommend The Goddard School of Philadelphia on Philadelphia on Pine and the Annex to any family looking for a place where their children can thrive, learn, and be genuinely cared for every day.

As our family prepares to move, I wanted to write this long overdue review.. Goddard Philly runs like a well-oiled machine Everything is smooth, organized, and reliable. Communication is always clear and consistent. Even during snowstorms and unexpected disruptions, they’ve been more dependable than any other childcare option we’ve tried, and even more so than a nanny. Even on the tough mornings when dropoff with my son feels hard, I never feel guilty leaving him. I know he’s in amazing hands, and he thrives there. He loves his teachers, his friends, the activities and we love the updates/pictures we get throughout the day. The peace of mind that comes from knowing he’s so well cared for has been priceless. The teachers and staff are warm, thoughtful, and attentive, especially when it comes to his food allergies. Choosing this school was one of the best parenting decisions we’ve made and I believe it has made all the difference in his early years.
