The Gardner School of Midtown- Nashville

We have absolutely loved our experience at The Gardner School-Midtown. We started our daughter as an infant and now are in her toddler classroom. While we have had EXCELLENT teachers this entire time, her current teachers, Ms. Hillary and Ms. Jane are truly spectacular. They are the calmest, sweetest, most helpful teachers. They’ve helped my daughter feel comfortable while potty-training in their room and she’s now nearly mastered it! My daughter’s learning has skyrocketed and I give credit to their patience and genuine care for each student. She is excited to go to school each day and our drop offs have been stress-free because she and I both know she’s going to have a great day.

The teachers and administration at The Gardner School–Midtown are truly exceptional. They provide an engaging, structured learning environment that goes beyond simple supervision, fostering genuine intellectual and social growth. Their warmth, dedication, and compassion for the children are evident in every interaction.

The Gardner School - Midtown was our #1 choice for preschool for our son and we were incredibly excited when he got in. We'd had friends whose children went there and had amazing experiences so personal feedback was huge. We switched our son from another Nashville preschool and the environment is calmer. We weren't expecting that after the previous daycare where we were was slightly chaotic. The staff are all amazing and the communication (AND PICTURES!) they provide on the app are 10/10. The Gardner School has been a breath of fresh air for our son and we cannot recommend it enough!

We were able to transfer to Gardner from another well known school in Midtown about 1 year ago and I have to say I have not been happier! Every class teacher we have had with our 2 sons have been amazing and have been there for years which says a lot! The administrative staff is so kind and very accommodating and communicate so well. There are so many opportunities for extracurriculars. And they constantly have fun events going on. Each class has a learning schedule and you know exactly what your kid is learning so you can recognize their improvements each day. I think school is so important for development in the early years and you can feel safe and confident you are getting the right care with Gardner. I can’t recommend this school enough!

Our child has been at Gardner for the last 2 1/2 years and we have all been so happy here. The staff and teachers are great and we love the curriculum and fun and creative activities they offer for learning. Our daughter loves the teachers and staff and we have been really impressed with their communication and her learning progress. The really do care about the kids education and well being/happiness. We tried another daycare for a short time that was similar to Gardner, however, it did not offer the communication, supportive/fun learning environment and safety we were wanting that Gardner offers. If we have ever had any questions or concerns the staff and teachers have been very easy to communicate with and accommodating. I feel a lot of peace knowing my daughter is in good hands when I drop her off every day. Between the teachers/staff and sense of community they work to create within the school, Gardner has come to feel like family and I would recommend them to any of my friends with kiddos.
