The Gardner School of Central Park

We have had the best experience at the Gardner School. What makes it so incredible are the amazing staff! Thank you to everyone who has helped our son become brave, social, kind and smart. Special shout out to Alondra, Jazz, Haley, Lidia, Gabby and Marianna for all you do :)

Our son has been here since he started daycare at 9 months and we've had a great experience despite numerous staff changes. We did wait on the wait list for over a year (we had gotten on the waitlist when i was early in my second trimester and had wanted to start at 8 months but a spot didn't open until he was 9 months which is pretty typical for daycare waitlists in the area). The building itself is very new and very elegant. We love the shared "playscape" area which is indoors and covered but is a large space for the kids to play when it's too cold to go outside. All of the teachers have always been friendly and approachable. Miss Ivy in particular knit hats for all her students with their initials as a holiday gift and our kid absolutely loved it. Ms Lily has been so kind and caring. The teachers post regular updates throughout the day about meals, diapers and photos/videos of what they're up to. Any minor incidents they also notify us through the app. The food they feed (breakfast, lunch and snack) them seems varied, tasty, and relatively healthy. The administrative staff have changed since we started but we haven't noticed any disruptions to usual activity. Similarly, our child's teachers has changed 3 times since starting in the toddler room but we haven't noticed many differences as everyone was wonderful and we love our current teachers. They have a curriculum and we've been impressed at all the activities they've done with them. The place has a parking lot shared with the church but designated spaces for pick up and drop off only. Finding a spot is not an issue though it can get busy at peak hours. If you are coming from Yosemite St, there are always a lot of cars and trucks parked along the street (I believe there is subsidized housing there) which creates a lot of congestion so not the most ideal route. Also, the driveway closest to the playground off of Yosemite street is not very smooth and if you have a smaller vehicle without a lot of clearance room, I would avoid that driveway

My son has been at the school since 5 months old and we just love his teachers Ms. Micayla and Ms. Hitzary, I couldn't ask for better teachers for my son. My son has developmental challenges and they just are perfect with him.

I enjoy the peace of mind that my child will be taken care of and that I'll get pictures throughout the day to see how they're doing. The staff is friendly and willing talk about any concerns.

We've had a terrific experience at the Gardner School of Central Park. Every staff person from the administration to teachers/support staff have been professional and kind. The communication is excellent. My daughter is always happy to go to school and happy when she comes home. We especially appreciate the staff retention. My daughter has had the same teachers for nearly a year. That is something that we never experienced when my son was in (a different) daycare. Overall, TGS Central Park is a terrific option. I highly recommend this school!
