Sylvan Learning of Boise

We've been working with Sylvan for a full school year now and it's been a wonderful supplement for our son's education. The staff and teachers are incredibly caring and well equipped. Our son made great progress in not only his academics, but also his confidence in reading and writing, which was such a big win. Thank you for all the support, time and effort your team pours into each student!

Sylvan has been excellent for my Son. Due to the Pandemic, he spent first grade doing virtual school, which did not give him the support necessary to learn basics before moving to the next grade. The teachers are wonderful and encourage him to be his best. Every quarter we review his progress, what skills he has mastered, and how his attitude has changed about learning new and more challenging material. Sylvan has a fantastic program, and I highly recommend it to anyone whose children are struggling. The kids also earn points they can spend on fun prizes to incentivize them to continue completing lessons.

Sylvan of Boise is such a great place for us. My child was a bit behind in school and the staff at Sylvan did an amazing job to help them catch up. The instructors are very knowledgeable, kind, and wonderful to work with. The owner of Sylvan of Boise, Sudhaker Chhabra, PhD, is incredibly thoughtful and intelligent. He was one of my child’s favorite instructors. When he first laid out the plan for Hunter, it was evident that he is a highly experienced instructor. He is a parent as well so he understands what it means to see your child succeed. I will always recommend Sylvan to anyone and I am so glad that I took a chance on them. If you have a child who needs a little assistance, this is the place to take them.

We use Sylvan Learning Center in Boise to enhance our son’s writing skills. It turned out as a good investment as our son progresses in this field. The staff at Sylvan are nice and helpful. Mr. Sudhaker is easy to talk to and always accommodating in reviewing our son’s progress. He makes sure we understand the learning process of our son and expected outcomes through periodic evaluation. My son always look forward coming to the learning center. He is also motivated as he earns points every time he attend to his classes. This pushed him to try harder. We wish the Sylvan Boise Center continued success in helping families and their kids learning needs.

My daughter is making great progress! We are very happy with her progress and program. She loves her teachers, especially Miss Misty. They are very patient and kind as if the kids they are helping were their own children. The rewards program is great because it’s not candy or food but fun toys/gadgets/crafts they can earn through a point system. They earn upon completing work which is a great incentive. This is helping to also teach my daughter about instant gratification and having to save up her points to get something she really wants. She is 8 years old and has been saving her point for about a month now. We are very proud of all she is accomplishing with Sylvan.
