Beautiful establishment and friendly staff. Not a high sales pitch environment after the $25 intro session. Clean equipment, YouTube tv viewable from the sauna; or Bluetooth in your phone and leave it outside the sauna-I listened to an audiobook on Hoopla. Very relaxing and also makes the time not drag on forever. Cannot see the clock from the cold plunge, so for accountability I recommend running the stop watch on your phone on the bench to time your plunge. Clean, professional, healthy-totally worth a visit!

Not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. Definitely not my experience. I’ve been coming here since before the renovation and even then it was subpar. I let things go since I knew they would be renovating but that hasn’t changed much. Now it seems harder to come by than not. You have to book almost a month out to even have appointments available. More often than not, I get notice that the cold plunge is out of order. And while I can understand we can’t control some things- for a newly renovated place that misled their current customers of being grandfathered into a price and then told after oh by the way it’ll be $40-$50 more a month… what you pay for monthly does not equate to what they claim to offer. Not only do I constantly get told the cold plunge is out of order- I’m told I can cancel free of charge- which is wild considering I pay monthly and your equipment would be the reason for the cancel. I have gone into many suites with floors soaked from leaking plunges, door handles to the sauna being off or loose and recently a shower that had a loose nozzle that literally came off in my hand. But don’t worry, they put up a “loose nozzle sign”. The towels provided are also damp more often than not which results in me bringing my own for peace of mind. It just seems very un-luxury for the amount of money paid and for it to be “newly renovated”. Why do I still go? BC right now the benefits still outweigh the cons but it’s definitely a choice thought about monthly. Just beware. The girls at the front are nice- this isn’t a dig at them- it’s beyond their control but mgmt overall needs to really figure things out or start being realistic of the price vs product they offer.

I needed to reschedule my appointment so I called and got the message machine. I left a message and never received a phone call back. I was in the area so I stopped by and informed the receptionist I left a message. She said she never got it. I showed her on my phone when I called and the length of the phone call. She just said she never received it. She was nice about changing my appointment but did not seem to care about the missed message. Well I am having to reschedule my appointment again and I have left two messages and have not received a call back. Sweat houz seems like a great concept but you can never get in touch with them on the phone. This is a show stopper for me. I was thinking about a membership but the lack of communication is very concerning. Why would I want a membership with a company I can never contact on the phone and never returns my phone calls? Have to ask if this is just me or if others have had similar experiences. Bye bye sweathouz

I've been to the location a few times and while inno longer live in Charleston, I have a membership now in Charlotte. The lovely lady working the weekend of the Bears / Browns game gave such great customer service even tho I could not get an appointment, she kept her word and called when an available spot opened up. It just happened to be too late and I was already leaving. Highly recommended SweatHouz and their locations in ATL, NC, and SC as the professionalism continues to be 5 stars.

My first session at SweatHouz Mount Pleasant was exceptional. The private suites are thoughtfully designed with a full-spectrum infrared sauna, a 49° cold plunge tub, and a vitamin C–infused shower — making it easy to move through heat, cold, and recovery in one space. The sauna is fully automated, with personal controls, a Bluetooth TV and speakers, which makes the experience both comfortable and customizable. The cold plunge was invigorating and effective for circulation and inflammation, while the vitamin C shower was a refreshing finish. Everything felt clean, modern, and well maintained, and the staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. This is an excellent option for anyone seeking holistic recovery, somatic therapy, or simply a restorative reset for body and mind.
