I had an outstanding experience with Jalil Gurbanov from SmartHome Appliance, and I truly hope this review gets the attention it deserves. Jalil came to my grandfather’s home to repair our stove, and from the moment he arrived, he showed incredible professionalism, patience, and genuine compassion. My grandfather is elderly, and Jalil treated him with so much respect and kindness, taking the time not only to fix the issue but to make sure we actually understood what caused it. He carefully explained how moisture can affect the digital stove system and gave us very helpful tips on how to prevent the problem from happening again in the future. Instead of just doing the repair and leaving, he went above and beyond by educating us, answering all our questions, and making sure everything was working perfectly before he left. It’s rare to meet someone who combines technical skill with such great customer care. Jalil clearly takes pride in his work and truly cares about the people he helps. Because of his honesty, professionalism, and compassion toward my grandfather, I strongly believe he deserves recognition and a raise. Employees like Jalil are the reason customers continue to trust and recommend SmartHome Appliance. Thank you again for the excellent service!

Vladimir was very professional, empathetic and responsive. Our refrigerator went out without warning. He came right away, assessed the situation, gave us our options and then did a repair the same week. The work area was always very clean. He was on time and very accommodating. If we had not had such confidence in Vladimir, we might have bought a new refrigerator but we did not need to.

I hate having to leave a critical review. I had two appliances that the technician assessed and received a quote over $2k for the repairs (dryer and oven). Technician said he was 100% certain on the dryer although he only has 2 months experience with the brand, and mostly sure about the oven because it’s the most likely cause (but he didn’t “find” the issue). For the dryer it’s a European model and the diagnosis is that the thermostats needed to be replaced. The model dryer I have does not have a thermostat (other models by this brand does). I emailed asking if they could clarify the quote because the part they quoted to replace does not exist on my model and they did not reply. A woman from their office later called me to see if I would accept their quote. I asked her to help me understand the quote because of the part and she said she would ask about it. No one has contacted me since. I went to get a second opinion and had a certified technician from another company come out and they used a laptop to diagnose that the dryer’s compressor was broken. Completely different issue, part, and replacement. Oh and the oven they said the control panel needed to be replaced, and the other technician identified there was a loose wire so there was no replacement needed. The technician from smarthome turned the oven on but did not physically inspect the control panel in the back. I requested a refund for the service call from this company and they have not replied. I would not recommend this business because they provided dishonest assessment, did not respond to questions, and only contacted me to pay for their quote. I would suggest that since I provided the make and models upfront if they are not qualified to assess a brand they shouldn’t take the call. I could have easily wasted $2k on parts and labor I didn’t need if I didn’t get a second opinion.

We had an issue with our freezer temperature alarm going off and Vlad was amazing. He was on time, very friendly and great at explaining the issues to us. Problem solved. Would 100% recommend his work

Scheduling the service call was courteous and quick, and the appointment was scheduled for within a day. Vladimir quickly diagnosed the cause of our 17 years old dishwasher leak and gave us a repair estimate for a faulty pump, also suggesting that we should consider replacing the machine. We thought this was noteworthy, since pressing for a repair would have been to SHA's advantage. Vladimir was friendly, professional and informative. We decided on repair, which required ordering the part over the Thanksgiving holiday. Vladimir returned with a helper after the holiday on our schedule to install the part and was again very professional. They conducted several leak tests before they were satisfied, and the work was completed in a timely manner. SHA provides both a parts and labor warranty, which shows they stand behind their work. Their pricing, where the service call fee is deducted from the repair labor, is a bonus. They also followed up with an after service call to make sure we were satisfied. SmartHome Appliance will be our "go to" appliance repair service from now on!
