Highly recommend Steve and the crews at Smart Exteriors. We had Hardie siding/trim, Provia windows, and gutters replaced, and are extremely happy with how much better our home looks now. Steve’s planning was thorough, with good explanation of the estimate, incorporating our choices. The crews were polite, respectful of our property, did a very careful installation, and diligently tidied up after each day’s work. Highly recommended!

I recently hired Smart Exteriors to put all new siding on my home and replace windows. It was a big project, and I got bids from a few other companies to make sure I made the best choice. Steve from Smart Exteriors was the most professional and courteous, and the pricing was reasonable. The crew was friendly and did a great job! I appreciate that Steve was available to answer my questions and kept me updated on the project.

We finally got tired of scraping sanding and painting our existing deck. It was even needing some structure repair due to warping of boards and railings. We were always putting it off because or the time It takes me to get it looking OK, the mess, and cost. Then we contacted Smart Exteriors. I was surprised of how little upgrading to composite materials that never need painting actually would be cost. They finished and cleaned up the mess in 3-days! We were trilled with the results. Steve and his team did a marvelous job replacing a few windows, installing new James Hardie siding and replacing all of the gutters. This was a big project, so I was grateful the purchasing process was low-stress. Steve answered all of our questions, was very responsive when I thought of 'just one more' question, and walked me through all of the financing options. Communication was also exemplary. We knew exactly when the crew would be at the house and when they were delayed due to weather. There were no surprises or phone tag to figure out when work would be completed. We waited at least a year (3?) longer than we should have to get the siding replaced, so I anticipated that there would be some surprises and was prepared for some cost overruns. I am happy to say this didn't happen, other than an add-on we made for aesthetics that was not part of the original estimate. This was definitely an investment, but Smart Exteriors was worth every penny, in large part because they did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it and the workmanship was solid.

I highly recommend Smart Exteriors for the job they did installing the Hardie siding on our house. We knew we had water damage and rot under our vinyl siding in one place, but we discovered damage under and around a bow window as well. Steve the project manager came to the site to check on progress daily and ask if we had any concerns. Andre the crew chief was a perfectionist! The wood rot was removed and rebuilt beautifully. The new siding was very expertly and carefully installed . The crew was respectful of our property and cleaned up at the end of every day. I feel like we have a brand new house!
