I had a very disappointing and painful experience at this establishment. I booked and paid for a 60-minute full body massage, but unfortunately, the service did not meet even basic expectations. From the start, the experience felt unprofessional. I was left standing in the hallway wearing only a towel and was told to sit on a bench while staff went back and forth in their language trying to decide who would give me my massage. This made me feel uncomfortable and exposed. During the massage, the therapist repeatedly used excessive pressure with her elbows. I clearly stated not once, but twice, that the pressure was hurting me. Despite this, the excessive force continued. A massage is supposed to be relaxing and therapeutic — this was neither. It was painful and distressing. To make matters worse, I paid for a full body massage, yet my legs and feet were completely skipped. That is unacceptable when you are paying for a full session. I am now home and unable to even lie comfortably on my back because of how sore and bruised it feels from the excessive pressure used. I have had many massages before and have never experienced anything like this. This was my first visit, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

⭐️ DO NOT GO HERE Seoul Spa and Sauna is an absolute joke of a place. We were threatened and intimidated by management over tipping — after we had already tipped. Apparently it “wasn’t enough,” and we were told the ladies would “remember us” if we didn’t give more. That’s not service — that’s coercion. The owner was incredibly rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. Instead of resolving the situation, he escalated it and made us feel unsafe and shamed. We are paying customers — not people you get to bully. We will never be returning. What’s wild is that we had been recommending this place to family and friends for months. Congrats — you just lost six MONTHLY clients, and I’ll be making sure others know exactly how women are treated here. You think because we’re women you can intimidate us? Absolutely not. Also, for a place that insists on cash-only and pressures customers relentlessly, the whole operation feels sketchy and scammy. Save your money. Save your dignity. DO NOT GO.

This place has been our go-to spot for months, which makes this experience even more disappointing. They promote a membership to make services seem cheaper, but then pressure customers to tip more to make up the difference. On top of that, they ask for cash, appear to be making money under the table, and still push for additional money—even after already giving a discounted price. I understand tipping culture in the U.S., but if you are already paying for a service, you should never be made to feel like you didn’t tip “enough.” That’s exactly what happened to my sisters and me. While we were checking out, the owner was extremely rude, confrontational, and told us that they would “remember us.” His tone and behavior were completely inappropriate and made us feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, and degraded. We paid $80 for a body scrub that lasted only 20 minutes. The service consisted of being washed with soap and our own shampoo—no oils, no additional products, nothing that justified the price. Despite this, the owner still demanded a higher tip, which felt unreasonable and insulting. What upset us most wasn’t just the money—it was the way we were treated. We left feeling bad, disrespected, and shamed, which no customer should ever experience. Because of this, they have lost at least five loyal customers, and we will be taking our hard-earned, taxed dollars elsewhere.

This place is an absolute gem in Connecticut! They have both a steam sauna and a dry sauna that you can use separately from any services, which is amazing. I booked a massage and it came with complimentary access to both the sauna and steam room. The massage therapists clearly have a well-developed routine for each style of massage. I went with the deep tissue, and honestly, I'm not usually a fan of deep tissue because it can be too intense. But this was chef's kiss—the perfect amount of pressure in all the right places. My therapist knew exactly what they were doing. I was there with two other people and we were all in the same room together, which made the experience even better. It felt relaxing and communal without being awkward. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Pricey but worth it. I enjoyed my first authentic Korean body scrub and massage. I booked online. Arrived 20 minutes early. Upon entry I was given a locker key. Shoes are placed in a small lobby locker. In the women’s locker room I was given a towel wrap with velcro and light robe. I was then instructed to lie on a small towel on the floor of the dry sauna (I was told to stay covered as it is shared with men. I was alone for my 10am Wednesday appointment.) I was then given a bottle of water and escorted to the steam sauna. Jenny was fantastic for my body scrub. I was provided a small hand sized towel for modesty and a towel to cover my eyes. The scrub included a soapy wash, brief face wash and hair wash. Amazing!!! 🤩 I also enjoyed a massage by Jenny. The massage included stretching and lots of pressure. Jenny made sure I was comfortable and checked in several times. I was provided two envelopes for both providers.
