Beyond grateful for this place! I’ve been a member for 5 months and signing up for the membership has helped me prioritize self care in a way that’s easy and affordable. The owner Yesenia is amazing and runs her business with so much care and integrity. I got a lymphatic drainage massage for the first time in my life today and I genuinely left feeling lighter and in less pain than I have in several years. I’ve lived with an autoimmune disease for years and the pain relief this gave me was more than I’ve EVER received from traditional massage. Salt and spa, thank you for the relief and the hope of finding something to better manage my pain 🌻🫶

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I only booked this appointment because I received a birthday gift certificate, but the way my situation was handled completely changed my view of this business. I was running slightly behind at clinic and called twice before my appointment to explain and communicate respectfully. Despite making the effort to keep them informed, there was no understanding or flexibility. Instead, they enforced their policy without discussion and deducted 50% of my gift card value. What’s most concerning is that their cancellation/late policy was never clearly explained when I called to book the appointment. If you’re going to enforce strict policies, they should be communicated upfront. Customer service should include professionalism and transparency. Unfortunately, this experience reflected none of those.

Very friendly staff and the space is warm and welcoming. The deep tissue massage was very helpful and relaxing. The ear candle was a great service, enjoyed it.

Yessenia and the girlie at the front desk are amazing. They truly care and are passionate about the clients experience, and will make things right with you. I had the hot stone massage and am on cloud 9 right now. I will be back!! The salt room is also an added bonus!

Update: I received a VM from Yesenia doing exactly what I described below—blaming me for not speaking up about the pressure. She also said my review indicated I didn’t want to pay that much for a tip and that she would refund it. I called her back to clarify that I did not say that and that I fully intended to tip 20% (and would have tipped more). I told her to reread my review. When I tried to provide feedback, she continued blaming me and telling me to “speak up.” I explained that her body language and demeanor didn’t leave room for feedback and reiterated that the issue was technique, not pressure. She argued with me, and when I pointed out that she was being loud and unprofessional in front of a table of adults who all heard her, she raised her voice and said “Listen!” I raised my voice in response, told her not to yell at me or speak to me like a child, and she hung up. After reading owner responses, I wasn't sure I even wanted to leave a review, but I'm going to. My fiance booked us couples massages. He was with Innocence and I had Yesenia (owner). My fiance had an amazing massage and I watched multiple times as Innocence was very intentional with her movements, moved slow and with pressure, checked in throughout and engaged as needed to ensure he was ok and things felt good. She also had a very soothing voice and spoke in a very appropriate tone and volume. Just really great at what she does, its obvious. Yesenia did ask about pressure and I did ask her to lighten it at the beginning due to pain. She did a tiny bit, but I could tell her style is what it is, and nothing was going to change it. It wasn't so much too much pressure as just not great technique. Her movements were fast and aggressive. When she was doing my arms and legs near the end there was very little oil on her hands and she was just aggressively rubbing my skin. She did not check in but one other time, which was when she was on the opposite side in the same spot I had pain previously. But, again, adjusting pressure wouldnt have made a lot of difference with her technique. Maybe some people would enjoy the fast and aggressive style? I can't imagine that ever being enjoyable, but I can't speak for everyone. I told my fiance afterwards I thought she was the owner, and maybe she had to fill in last minute. I told him I felt like she just really didn't want to be there and was just getting through it. After reading reviews it appears she does services regularly? Perhaps stop and focus on the business side of things if you dont enjoy it anymore? If it were just my fiance's massage with Innocence, it would be a 5 star easy. Even i enjoyed hearing her soothing voice when she did speak. But if we are talking about my massage? Thats a 2 star at best, which is why I gave 3 star total. I fully expect to get a response to this from the owner asking why I didnt speak up, etc... just some advice from another business professional: take feedback as an opportunity to grow and get better, not to point the finger. This was a gift from my fiance so I didnt pick the place, but had I been the one to pick and saw the reviews and your responses, I would not have booked on that alone. Your professionalism needs to be taken up a few notches. Again, HIGHLY recommend Innocence! She did an amazing job! Also, it wasn't a big deal, but since I saw other people with payment issues...we came out and were told they got confused between us and another couple and so they charged our card already with a $20 tip each. We said that was fine, which it was because we would have tipped that much, but I don't believe that is actually what happened. And seeing other reviews with people having issues with payment....maybe fix whatever issues you have with your booking system that makes it so easy to make errors? Just a suggestion.
