Our project consisted of multiple tasks. We had several areas of siding replaced. The whole right side, portions of the back, and portions of the left side and included with this process was to identify and replace facia boards that needed attention. The next step was to paint the entire house. After the initial quote and agreeing to the terms, the project had begun or so we thought. A dumpster showed up without notice, the port a john arrived without notice. Materials arrived and the tear off soon began. What we found out rather quickly was the communication was less than pristine, mostly with the crews doing the work. Typically, one person spoke English and only was around for the first day and came back for short visits periodically. Most questions had to be done through a translation app on our phones...geez! Billing was less than desirable. Multiple times an invoice was sent saying we owed the same amount even after the first check cleared the bank. Pacific was contacted and we were told, "it was a billing issue". Fortunately, the amount of the total bill was correct. Multiple times during the siding replacement, boards had to be torn off, replaced, recut, re-nailed, etc. For a professional siding installer, we were disappointed with all the "redo" which had to be done. Nails, nails and more nails than necessary were used to attach the Hardie Plank. This was mentioned to our PM James Reed. He insisted it would not impact the Hardie Warranty but with multiple nails in so many locations, one has to wonder. We know from our contract that some landscape damage would happen. Slight damage was more in line with, "we could care less about the landscape". Siding and ladders all strewn about, workers stomping without care, etc . Paint selection was smooth. The design program was very helpful. The actual painting of the house was not smooth at all. There were multiple crews, and the construction crew posing as the paint crew. Again, all revolved around poor communication. Granted, we had some really heavy rain during that period. However, at times there were days on end with good weather, with no crew showing up. We were told they were on other projects, after we reached out to question the delays. Previous to the siding, we had a new roof installed, and Pacific was made aware. The roof was not even considered by the crews putting ladders up to reach the higher gables. There are areas of the brand new roof that have damage. Our project was started in mid-March of 2025 and ended on June 30th. The absolute most frustrating experience of my entire life. Even joining the military was less stressful. We absolutely would not recommend Pacific Exteriors for any other work. As a follow up to the previous post, I should have mentioned that with all of the issues noted, the completed project is far better looking than what our house looked like before. So, for a star rating on the appearance, it would be 4.5 Stars.

We had a great experience with Dewand as our first point of contact with this company. I was particularly impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. We're stilling comparing quotes but he when he left our home he was immediately moved up to the top 2 of all the contractors we met with.

I elicited the service of Pacific Exteriors for a siding replacement project on a section of my home. Dewand Hicks met me to discuss my concerns and review project scope. He was extremely knowledgeable about project options, has a deep understanding of the products the installers use, as well as thoroughly explained the installation process. He generated multiple project scope options to choose from and took time to explain the respective quotes. I felt that he didn’t push for one particular option but answered all questions to help me make a choice that was in my best interest. I have been very pleased with the care the team has shown me.

I called Pacific Exteriors out for a quote on a small project. Corbin came out and make a quick assessment and let me know that they were not the best fit for the job because it was a small amount of work. He provided suggestions on how to get it done quickly and affordably. I greatly appreciate the honesty and the candor Corbin showed because not every company is like that. I will keep them in mind for any future needs.

We got an estimate for replacing all the siding on our house with Hardie wood. Dewand Hicks was incredibly personable, patient and thorough as he took us through the process. After his initial assessment of our house's measurements and other pertinent into, he asked great questions to clarify information about our existing structure. Dewand then clearly explained the parts of the house involved, the details of our options in terms of materials, and how those details impacted long term durability, maintenance and warranty coverage. We love that Pacific includes unlimited repair of rotten sheathing and rotten insulation, so we won't get surprised by extra costs when the existing siding gets removed.

We had Pacific Exteriors do a complete replacement and upgrade of siding and paint for our 25 year old home in Kennesaw Georgia and are extremely pleased with the results. This was a large project that spanned multiple weeks but our project management team Pavel and Aysha made it very smooth. The construction team’s attention to detail and thoroughness were excellent. Various before and after pics are attached to this review. Highly recommended.
