L'Academy Language Immersion Preschool & Infant Daycare Nob Hill San Francisco

L’Academy staff are very attentive and experienced educators who truly care about the kids and their development. The staff who work here are very kind and come from diverse ethnicities and backgrounds. This creates a sense of diversity, which I think is important and builds a sense of community. Sara, the preschool Director, is also amazing! She is wonderful with the kids and parents. I noticed she works with the parents when they have questions and goes above and beyond to get the families the support that is needed. The facilities were clean and very nice. The classrooms are spacious, clean, and have lots of interesting stations for the children. When I toured and visited, I observed that L’Academy provides healthy and well-balanced meals. I also love the regular newsletter updates and seeing photos of the children enjoying their time and years with L’Acadeny. I would definitely recommend families to L’Academy and would like to see my grandchildren attend in the future.

Both of my kids went to L’Academy and had a great time. They are always happy when we drop them off and happy when we pick them up. It’s nice that their teachers rotate so by the time my daughter started at 13 months, she was able to have my son’s favorite teacher Ivy as her main teacher. It’s a safe and clean environment. Our kids never had diaper rashes and we never worry about accidents in the playgrounds or something.

Our child has been at L’academy Nob Hill for about 1.5 years. Sara and her team are caring, thoughtful and kind. The preschool regularly posts updates on the children throughout the day. In addition Sara and her team help support and educate the children through everything from writing and vocabulary to potty training and behavior. We like that our child is learning mandarin at the school alongside English to prepare our child for elementary school. That they provide snacks and prepare lunch is also really helpful for us working parents.

Our daughter has been at L'Academy Nob Hill since October 2021, when she was 18 months old. We'd been using a nanny until then, and I was very skeptical and concerned about how our child would do in a daycare environment. From the moment we did a tour, L'Academy banished my fears. The curriculum is strong, with a good balance between personal character growth and intellectual stimulation. But more importantly, when you walk in the room you can feel how much the kids love each other, and how much the teachers truly care for each of their students. That feeling is why I can drop her off every morning knowing that she's in the best possible hands, getting everything she needs to grow. (And if I can brag for a second...the reactions from our friends and family when they see how much our kid can say and do suggest that she definitely is growing!) There are a couple other points in comparison to other daycares we toured that are worth mentioning. First, this facility is comparatively new (opened 2020), which means their toys, books, etc. aren't as...tired...as the ones we saw in other centers. Second, the cost for a full week compares favorably to what other programs charge for part-time care--and unlike other programs, L'Academy includes two daily meals and a snack in that package. That means we can spend our mornings relaxing and spending time with our daughter, rather than hurrying around to get her lunch together. None of this would matter if our kid wasn't safe and happy there - but they're nice bonuses! In sum, we are absolutely thrilled with L'Academy, and would recommend it without reservation.

My toddler loves L’Academy and is always excited to go to school and happily waves goodbye to me when I drop her off. The space is beautifully designed and always very clean and sanitized every day. Photos/status updates get sent to parents via app which is very comforting to know that our little ones are doing well. The director is also very communicative and responsive to any inquiries. Highly recommend L’Academy!
