La Petite Academy of Washington

My husband and I chose La Petite because we were impressed by our tour, the director, and the option to do flex/drop-in days. We had a full time nanny-share but our infant daughter loved her drop-in days at La Petite (starting at 4 months). The infant classrooms were wonderful and the teachers/aides were caring, warm, and engaged. We always got fun updates about activities and mealtimes. On more than a few occasions we had a very last minute need for daycare and La Petite was always happy to accommodate. This is a wonderful little community and we were thrilled to be a part of it- our daughter thrived here! Overall, I am an anxious first time mom but I can confidently say, I never felt worried about dropping my daughter off. Now our daughter is almost 10 months and we’re moving out of the area and hope we can find somewhere we feel just as comfortable. PS- we LOVE the app you guys use too! Thank you to leadership and the infant care team- we will miss you all!

Very grateful for the service provided at this location. Staff is great and our family feels very comfortable with the safety of our daughter at this location.

I’d give this place negative stars if I could. Our child lasted not even two full days. The staff was inexperienced, uninterested, and downright negligent. They were cold, uncaring, and at times rough with how they’d pick up and put children down. We witnessed our child be left on the floor facedown in a puddle of tears and drool for 16 minutes before we called the director to tell the teacher to go pick him up. They then claimed they thought he would “fall asleep” as their reason for not picking him up. Who lets a child fall asleep in the middle of the floor with other kids crawling around?! They should be put out of business altogether. Avoid this place at all costs

My baby started attending La Petite when she was 3 months and sadly we had to leave recently due to us moving. I could not be happier with La Petite, all the staff are so kind and friendly and their management team is amazing. The infant class room teachers are so sweet, they really care for about the kids and provide them with a loving and warm environment to grow. My kid only attended the toddler classroom for a few weeks but she had the best time with all the activities and every day fun. I 1000% recommended La petite for everyone looking for childcare, their facilities are also very clean, spacious and very well organized.

Love the infant teachers, they are great with my daughter! Lots of updates for parents and very clean, best place! Updating now that it’s been 2 years, we are still there and my daughter has been through almost every classroom they offer. Great with COVID protocols, always responsive. Recently got a new playground and renovations. The staff has ALWAYS been great with my very anxious daughter, challenging her and supporting her along the way. She’s now 3 and starting to sound out words! Like any school there’s sometimes issues that come up, but if you communicate with the school everyone is responsive.
