My child feels safe, supported, and excited to go to school each day, which gives me complete peace of mind as a parent. I am especially impressed with the learning environment. The classrooms are structured, engaging, and focused on both academics and social development. I can see how much my child has grown academically, socially, and emotionally since attending La Petite Academy. Communication with parents is excellent. The teachers and administration keep me informed, are always available to answer questions, and make sure parents feel like partners in their child’s education. We’ve had the privilege of enrolling our child at La Petite Daycare on Walnut Bend from the time they were just 6 weeks old, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care and education they’ve received over the years. A peer recommended La Petite, and from the very first day, Mrs. Kenya Johnson treated our baby as if she were her own. The safety measures and precautions put in place during COVID went far beyond our expectations, and we immediately knew our daughter was in the right hands. Our daughter attended La Petite from infancy all the way through Pre-K, completing the program last year. Transitioning from La Petite to kindergarten was one of the hardest changes we’ve ever made because this center has truly been a second home for our family. She grew up here, surrounded by teachers and staff who loved her, nurtured her, and celebrated every milestone with her. Many of her closest friends were with her from the infant room all the way through Pre-K—something that speaks volumes about the environment and the level of care this school provides. Running a daycare is incredibly challenging, yet Mrs. Kenya leads with grace, dedication, and genuine love for every child who walks through the doors. She sets the tone for an exceptional team that treats children like family and creates a safe, warm, and enriching place for them to learn and grow. I absolutely love this daycare! My daughter attended this center, and I loved it so much that I came back when I had another baby. The director, Kenya Johnson, does an amazing job ensuring all teachers are qualified and that the children are in a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment while parents are at work.
