I have been to Wednesday women's group a number of times and I have loved it every time! The guided meditation at the beginning sets a wonderful tone for connection and self care. I love being able to switch between the sauna, cold plunge, steam room, showers and social bath. The contrast therapy is renewing. This special time slot just for women is just so perfect and needed.

I love bathhouse, but this is really an appreciation post for Lynisa. I have had two massages from her here because the first one was life changing -- seriously one of the best massages I have ever had. I carry a ton of tension in my back and neck and left each time feeling lighter and like I was able to release a lot of stress. She makes you feel like a goddess on the table and the experience was incredibly healing. Highly recommend!

I was really disappointed with my experience at Glow SLC. For a place that markets itself as a luxury spa, the facility is shockingly small and awkwardly cramped. The changing rooms can’t comfortably hold more than four people at a time, which made getting ready for a girls’ birthday outing stressful instead of relaxing. To make things worse, the entrance to the changing rooms is right at the front lobby. So while we were dripping wet and half dressed, anyone coming in for a tour had to walk directly past us. It was incredibly uncomfortable, and instead of acknowledging the poor layout, the staff acted awkward about it as if it was somehow our fault. Service was underwhelming across the board. No one took the time to inform us about basic amenities like the water stations or the café located across the courtyard. For a “luxury” experience, I expected proactive communication and hospitality. The towels were also very low quality—thin and scratchy, which definitely didn’t match the premium price point. They’re also extremely strict about noise. There’s a rule about keeping quiet, and apparently they’ll ring a gong or come reprimand you if you’re being too loud. The whole place is tiny and eerily silent, yet there isn’t even soft background music to create a calming atmosphere. It honestly felt more like an amenity you’d find at a luxury apartment complex rather than a true spa. I have no idea how you’re supposed to “zen out” in a pool surrounded by other people in total silence. Overall, our girls’ day/birthday celebration was a huge letdown. It was absolutely not worth the cost. You can get a far more polished and genuinely luxurious experience with similar amenities at The Cliff Spa. I wouldn’t recommend Glow SLC and definitely won’t be returning.

So lovely to have a European bathhouse in Salt Lake City! It's nestled in a quiet area of town and is the perfect place to relax and chill with friends, or alone. They have private or communal changing rooms depending on your comfort level, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. You pay for a time slot and use your time however you prefer. It is clean and simple, and just what northern Utah needed. Looking forward to seeing even more improvements to the space over time... maybe some recommended "journeys" through the hot and cold to achieve certain benefits, and possibly a patio lounge in the summer?

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Glow in Salt Lake City! For a 2-hour session that cost just $45, this place is an incredible value and offers a perfect escape. The facilities are beautifully maintained and offer everything you need for a complete hot and cold therapy circuit. They have a clean sauna, a spacious steam room, a refreshing cold plunge (around 50°F), and a warm pool (99°F). I loved moving between the hot and cold—it left me feeling so relaxed and energized. Everything from the showers to the lockers to the spa area was spotless and very well cared for. The experience felt well-managed, and I was provided with two fresh towels right away. The outdoor area with yoga mats is a nice touch, and it's a great spot to cool down and stretch. A huge shout-out to the front desk staff, who were so welcoming and knowledgeable. They made the entire visit smooth and pleasant. I can't recommend Glow enough if you're looking for a top-notch wellness experience in SLC. It’s an easy, affordable way to reset your mind and body.
