G Spa & Salon at Foxwoods

We have gone here many times. Always was a pleasant experience. Finding a massage therapist here can be challenging though. Being upfront and communicating your expectations is important. The pool shower has no shampoo or anything for showering, the floor is slippery and a little slimy - like not cleaned well. I booked a massage for my husband here and it was disappointing right from the start. The massage therapist told him basically since it was such a short massage it was not long enough to address any particular areas he had explained were his troubled areas. He was super flexible and said to just address those areas. I did not get who he had.When I had inquired about a discount as it says rewards members for Diamond card members it was told that it could not be on a weekend. OK but it felt like bothering the desk when asked they got very irritated about it. It was odd as I always had such a friendly interaction. It can be tough serving the public so that wont keep me from returning. The massage I had last visit was not a deep tissue as I requested so I dont know if I will have that type here in the future.Be sure to be open of your expectations here as therapists do not know you and will not be able to address your concerns if you dont mention them. I will note who I had that was good and I will request them going forward. My husband will not return here.

The salon at this Spa is amazing. Hailey is a breath of fresh air the moment you walk in. She is super friendly. Experienced in hair coloring cuts and styling. Been here multiple times and forgot to leave a review. Highly recommend going here for a hair or nail services . (Take advantage of the spa pool and such if you get any services over 80.00 I believe double check at the desk) Salon is always clean . I've had facials and massages here too. The facials are super relaxing and it helped my skin so much.Highly recommend.Lisa was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable and helped me choose the right treatment as I dont normally have this service. She treated me and my sister with amazing customer service and super friendly. Very experienced and knowledgeable. Thank you Lisa! **Updated- went in today for a massage and eyebrow waxing. Highly recommend the deep tissue massage just be very upfront with any problem areas , fotn expect others to know where your sore or stuff muscles are or problem areas. Matt was my massage therapist and was amazing. He targeted the areas I mentioned relieved the sore tension and after over week of suffering I'm only regretting not scheduling sooner. He was professional very patient and communicated excellently. Sarah was very friendly super accommodating and did exactly what I wanted with my eyebrows. It can be tough to get appointments here so if possible plan it out before hand. Thats the biggest problem I have come into. (I am not one who plans things out. ) Only wished they had lounge chairs other than the pool area for relaxing after a massage. Cruise ships have heated spa seats and they're amazingly nice after a massage.

I had a truly amazing experience at the Gspa starting from walking in and being welcomed into the locker room by Fernando. He was very friendly and showed me the amenities and how to use everything. I also had a signature massage by Tiffany. It was one of the best massages i’ve ever gotten. She focused on the areas I needed due to my strenuous job. If you ever are looking to get a massage, I highly recommend using the Gspa and Tiffany for a relaxing day.

My first time ever doing this but this spa is so horrible Over $500 To be rushed Definitely not a relaxing day at the g spa I called to book 2 massages back to back Vincent, I believe which is awesome. The massage therapist is awesome and a facial so when Leslie answer the phone, I told her I needed some services back to back. She was so in a rush to get me off the phone. She was just picking time so I said. Can I get a manager? She said she is the manager I said OK I need some time. I want a book my massage first, and then I wanna have time after like two hours to use the amenities and do my facial for the end because last time I did a facial, they told me save that for the end I shouldn’t use any amenities or shower so she said OK. She booked me for a 1230 massage and a 5 o’clock facial. …. So the day of My appointment Which I will say, I did get a phone call not from From one of the workers left me a voicemail stating that they cannot do The facial at five they have to do it at three so I called back And said that’s not gonna work I wanted to use the Amenities She said we’ll come in now. I said I can’t come in now. I’m an hour away so can I get Leslie? Leslie came to the phone didn’t even apologize so I asked her Leslie it’s Friday. There’s only one person in to do a facial. I understand emergencies happen, but this was 8 AM. You still have time. Can you find someone she said oh maybe So I went to my appointment when I walked in I asked the person at front if my Host contacted them with my comp She said yes I said OK anybody come in for the facial? She said no I said where is Leslie she’s here. Leslie never even came out to apologize or say sorry…. So I went ahead with My massage When I got out, I asked Where is Leslie? Oh, she left for the day so another manager was there and told me I had to do the facial right now There’s no later So I said OK but at least can I get my 15% off and can I take a shower really quick can I at least have 10 minutes she said yes you can have 10 minutes but then you’re not gonna get the full effect of your 50 Minute facial So I rushed In the shower to get out to make it for my facial So I didn’t get to use the amenities I didn’t even get an apology anyways the sauna the 10 minutes I went in before my massage wasn’t even getting hot was down. I was not the only one complaining they didn’t even care. So when I want to pay First thing, the lady told me is They cannot honor no discount Not even the 15% off because it’s Friday and on Friday there’s no discounts but the manager told me she was going to honor it. She said well we’re not Honoring it So I asked her she was so rude. She said there was no comp and got upset. I said there is a comp not from you for my Host. She said no there’s not. She just didn’t want to read the notes so another lady came from the back and said no, there is a comp…… So I called back in the morning And a manager that told me she’s been running the place for 17 years she knew all about it but she didn’t give me a call I had to call. She said oh I know all about your experience and she did apologize….. After I complained, but this is the worst spa Ever their showers look like there’s a mold in them Their service is horrible. They cancel the day of your appointment and they will not even accommodate a discount of any, but if you cancel the day of your appointment, you have to pay the full service Leslie is a manager she never even came out. She never even apologized. This is the worst spot ever. This is Debbie. I am actually using my mom’s account. Nobody should spend their money here. $500 to be rush….. if the owner sees this, you can give me a call I spoke to One of the managers it wasn’t Leslie. It was a manager that told me she retired. She was just filling in for Leslie because Leslie went on vacation so again…. I see the owner reads the reviews. You can give me a call. Think you would love to hear about the customer service

Haven’t had a manicure in I can’t remember when! Went to spa- came home had nail fungus! Absolutely furious! The manager told me I had to wait to speak to her boss, which made no sense. Finally I called a second time. I was sick of waiting. She was not pleasant at all. Leslie, I believe. I told her about my massage experience and my new nail fungus. First she tried to just refund my manicure and I stood my ground and told her I wanted all my money back, the entire experience was HORRIBLE! Don’t BOTHER- I did get a full refund! Good luck!!!
