Worst dental clinic experience I've ever had. I broke my tooth and I went to their Miller Park Way location because they were able to get me in and x-rayed and I thought that meant they were responsive ans flexible. One i get fitted, I get quoted my out of pocket (~$300) but am told to wait till my insurance confirm and they wouldnt book my appointment to fix my tooth until insurance did so. This took nearly 2 weeks. Insurance confirmed and then I called several times trying to make my appointment. Eventually, I had to show up in person... TWICE ... before they FINALLY put me on the books. When I get to my appointment (nearly 2 months after chipping my FRONT tooth), Im asked whether I want to pay my deposit now or later. I'm thinking total out of pocket is only $300 so deposit cant be bad. I go to pay and they try to charge me almost $1,000. They said insurance was no longer accepted bc getting my tooth fixed was cosmetic. Yes when they quoted me, they said they wouldnt bill it that way because it was not cosmetic... needless to say I had to fly back home to have my tooth fixed by my family dentist almost 3 months after my tooth chipped.

I'll gladly be driving much further away for dental and ortho appointments to avoid this place. Bad experience with the current ortho staff that I never want to repeat. And don't even get me started on the difficulties in trying to schedule appointments.

The hygienist and dentists are nice, but scheduling/business processes are a nightmare. They dont pick up the phone when you call; I've been sent to voicemail everytime I try to call about something.

Sorry for the long comment, but I believe it's important that everyone knows what's going on in here. TL;DR do not go there. They are rude, passive aggressive, and have no problem misinforming their patients about bills. I was seen in the now closed Beer Line location earlier this year. The dental assistant and the administrative assistant told me that the procedures that I am having done were covered by my insurance—fillings and cleanings. However, apparently their words do not mean a single thing because they sent bills. Some of these bills came through email. Rest of them they claim they sent some through mail. I was able find one from them for less $30, which arrived while I was out of country attending my father's funeral. They sent me to collections based on bills never sent. They could not prove that they sent the bills either. The customer service representative was extremely passive aggressive, especially after she agitated me—basically telling me that I had to suck it up even though her coworkers misinformed me about coverage. As most of us know, dental care and insurance is often not a guessing game. They tell you how much you owe them in the spot, before you get the service done. I have never been to a single dentist where they failed with insurance, including Dental Associates. I hope the customer representative at the Billing Department gets into trouble for her terrible service.

Actual dental care was fine. Anything insurance or business related is horrible! I had an insurance change and even after multiple calls and voicemails over and over to them trying to get everything straightened out. They ended up sending my claim to collections! and when I called them back yet again, my new insurance is magically being resubmitted and taken care of. Save yourself a big headache and find a better dental group!
