ChooChoo Chicago, your family childcare

ChooChoo left a child at a park on one of their outings. Nannies at the park indicated the child was left for 7-8 minutes. The bigger concern on our part was that the owner initially communicated to parents denying the event and did not have a plan to prevent the issue in the future until a parent meeting pushing for changes. Subsequently ChooChoo selectively enforced their 60 day notification for leaving the daycare. Would not recommend

ChooChoo has been such a gift for our family. As first-time dads, the idea of leaving our daughter in someone else’s care was daunting, but this team has given us complete confidence. From day one, the teachers have been warm, caring, and professional. The center itself is spotless, welcoming, and thoughtfully run. The value here is unmatched—not just financially, but in the trust, communication, and peace of mind we get every single day. We feel like we’re part of a community that truly loves our child. ChooChoo Chicago has been a wonderful experience for our family. The space is bright, open, and inviting, instantly putting both kids and parents at ease. Mia’s leadership is truly exceptional. She brings warmth, vision, and genuine care to everything she does, creating a thoughtful and joyful environment for children to thrive. The staff is equally amazing. They are kind, accommodating, and deeply invested in each child’s growth. Our daughter has blossomed since starting here and looks forward to each day with excitement. Mia and her team have crafted such a fresh and playful springboard for my kiddos first school experience. Everyday is an adventure (great walks and activities). We even shout "HIIIII CHOOOCHOOO" every time we pass by in the car. Our youngest is in Locomotives (4-6) and is leaving soon for CPS. His expressive language has improved immensely and is absolutely ready for his next chapter. Thanks to Choo Choo. I don't write a lot of reviews, but small businesses- especially quality childcare/schooling is so important. They really rely on word of mouth so I'm spreading the word however I can. Thank you Choo Choo!

ChooChoo Chicago has made this first-time-mom feel confident in going back to work. The daycare search in Chicago is bonkers. When my husband and I toured ChooChoo, we knew it was the right place for our family. Our child has been a student there now for almost a year and we still stand by our choice. ChooChoo Chicago not only makes us feel great about dropping our child off every day but we know that our child is excited to go to school every day. The teachers are amazing and the work, love, and dedication they show to the kids is heartwarming. Each teacher in that school treats every single kid like they are their own. I'm convinced my child would not be progressing at the level they are today without the care and attention from the teachers. Communication is key especially when you leave your child with someone for 8hrs+ a day. ChooChoo Chicago does a fantastic job letting me know how much my child is sleeping, that they are eating enough as well as fun and exciting activities throughout the day. Additionally, Mia does a great job communicating fun activities for families like Halloween parties parents can attend. She has created a wonderful community at the school that we are proud to be a part of.
