Catalina Hills Preschool & Kindergarten

I would give Catalina Hills six stars if I could!! I cannot say enough good things about this school. The entire staff, teachers, facilities and resources are absolutely top notch. If you want the best for your children, this school is a MUST! My kiddo absolutely loves his teachers- Miss Megan and Miss Vas and he is always so excited to see them and his friends. The curriculum is incredible and even my friends and colleagues have told me they can noticeably tell my child's advanced development compared to other children around his age group. The school goes above and beyond not just for the kiddos, but for the families as well. The Director/ Assistant Directors- Kate, Renate, Jennifer, and Trisha- are all amazing people who have my highest appreciation and regards. I am so fortunate to have my child attend Catalina Hills.

My family absolutely loves Catalina Hills Preschool & Kinder! The owner, Kate, is truly one of a kind. She has a huge heart, is a wonderful leader, and always goes above and beyond for the students, staff, and school community. The teachers are highly educated, positive, and compassionate, creating such a nurturing environment for the children. The school takes safety very seriously, which gives us great peace of mind. You must call to be let in the gate, classrooms are always locked, and a staff member greets families at the gate during drop off and pick up (no propped doors or gates). The facility is spotless, with engaging and fun toys, and Kate makes sure everything stays new and up to date. As parents, we love the Brightwheel app the school uses. It’s updated daily with plenty of photos, videos, and notes so we always feel connected to our child’s day. The school hosts so many wonderful events throughout the year, such as Grandparents Day, Trunk or Treat, the Parent Pizza Party for Valentine’s Day, and a big end of year carnival. Kate even surprises the kids with special fun days, like bounce houses, snow cones, or visits from live animals. On top of all that, the extracurriculars are amazing! Catalina Hills offers Spanish, yoga, PE, music, and even ceramics for the older students. The schools hosts monthly STEM days and so much more. Catalina Hills truly feels like family, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

We have been at Catalina Hills since my daughter was 2 and have been so awed and impressed with the staff, teachers, curriculum, and administration that we are still at Catalina Hills through age 6 for Kindergarten. We have made lifelong friends that mean the world to us and feel so close to the school community. We love the teachers, staff, parents, and other students and never miss an opportunity to celebrate the school and the families that make it so magical. We also love the summer camp program! We could not recommend Catalina Hills any more than we already do as it truly is the best school available in Tucson for ages 1-6!

My family is so happy we found Catalina Hills, picking a preschool is tough. But the teachers are top notch, the activities, and growth you get to see in your kid is amazing. Thank you for providing a warm, safe, and engaging environment for our daughter to learn in. This isnt just a place you drop your kids to be watched. From Spanish, to Music, to Yoga, and preparing them for Kindergarten is amazing.

Both of my boys attend Catalina Hills Preschool, and our daughter will be joining soon—we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The teachers are warm and invested in each child’s growth. The classrooms feel like such a positive and nurturing environment. A special mention goes to the director, Kate, who is outstanding. She knows every child and family and runs the school with so much care. We’re so grateful to have found Catalina Hills and can’t recommend it highly enough for families in Tucson!
