Cathy and her crew at Bartlett Brainard Products have once again proven why they are the premier home remodelers in West Hartford. Our 30 year old deck had seen better days and with Cathy's input we came up with an improved design that would require minimal maintenance, better function, and look great. The crew removed the old deck, built the new substructure which was inspected by the town building inspector and deemed to be "wow, this is really sturdy". Using Wolf composite decking and black aluminum railings they constructed a gorgeous deck, despite the less than ideal weather conditions, that exceeded our expectations. The crew were a pleasure to work with, pleasant and courteous. The new deck was a tremendous hit this past Father's Day with our family who joined us for a bbq.

From my first meeting with Cathy to get an estimate for new windows in my home to the completed project, the process with Bartlett Brainard was easy and seamless. The quality of work and craftsmanship of the crew was outstanding. The installers were so meticulous with every detail especially the outside trim work. I highly recommend Bartlett Brainard and would definately call upon them again for my next home improvement project.

Bartlett Brainard did a fabulous job on the exterior of my home! The project included new roofing, siding, gutters, and several window replacements. We were reluctant to replace our cedar siding with vinyl, but we worked closely with Bartlett to achieve a look that is both aesthetically pleasing - and maintenance free. Their trim and carpentry work was excellent and their craftsmen are very responsible and professional. I highly recommend the Bartlett Brainard Products Co.

This was our 3rd project with Bartlett-Brainard. As we committed to this, their sales person measured the space and took notes. Then a week or so later, their carpenter came out to measure again. “Measure twice, cut once” like school shop classes. They gave us an estimated approximate time to have the sliding door unit manufactured and then their schedule. As the time got closer, I reached out to them and them to me. In the last two weeks, communications increased until the day before installation to confirm our availability. The door was delivered early that morning as we were told, then their carpenters arrived to start working. The job took one day, start to finish. The quality of the work and their professionalism was outstanding. They helped take down a vertical’s curtain and rehung it on completion. They were neat and didn’t leave any construction debris. Bartlett-Brainard was recommended to us before the first project by previous customers who were also very happy with the work they did. I am happy to do the same thing again.

We very much appreciated the time that Cathy took to help us address design issues and choose appropriate products in advance of beginning work on the project. Her advice at the outset of the project was invaluable, and she and the rest of the Bartlett Brainard team brought the same level of professionalism and organization to the project once underway, communicating regularly, addressing concerns promptly, and working with us to make sure that we loved the end product. Having folks in and out of your house over a long period of time can take its toll, but I can honestly say that we missed Neil and Darek and the rest of the team when the job was finished.
