I started with a search of the best hotel with a spa in sf and I chose Bamford and they exceeded expectation. All the was welcoming and very genuine. Did the couples massage with my fiancé and it was amazing! The massages we got were honestly one of the best ones we’ve ever gotten. They offered us tea and light snacks and chocolate strawberries after the service. This place really ties into the brand and elevated the experience here at 1 Hotel.

Now let’s give flowers to this top tier hotel! This hotel was simply beautiful! It’s simplicity with neutral tones and nature vibes was so serene. Bamford Spa located inside the hotel was truly an experience. They literally touched mind, body and spirit! I was greeted by the most welcoming ladies. My masseuse was extremely knowledgeable, gentle, soft spoken, and applied the perfect amount of pressure. Her hands were like butter! After my massage I went for a CBD soak on the roof top! From the moment I arrived, Amal brought such a grounding, warm presence that truly elevated the entire experience. Her energy was calming, intuitive, and nurturing—exactly what you’d hope for in a healing space like Bamford. She took the time to explain everything with care, checked in gently without interrupting the flow, and held space in a way that felt both professional and deeply human. The salt soak itself was serene and rejuvenating, but it was Amal’s attention to detail and genuine kindness that made it unforgettable. She has a gift—not just for wellness, but for making people feel seen, safe, and restored.

Absolutely wonderful experience here at Bamford Wellness Spa. Did a de-stress or couple massage as well as the aromatic bath with my husband and it really was the most relaxing time. Snacks and beverages during the bath really topped it off. Can’t recommend this spa enough and can’t wait to return!

I had the most incredible experience soaking in their outdoor stone tub. Urban city views but the feeling of a little oasis complete with bamboo, plants, aromatherapy, tea, water, and snacks. Amal was gracious, attentive, and lovely. This was one of the best ways to enjoy the first week of the new year! I highly recommend their baths, I'm sure the massage and facials are amazing as well and I'll be back for a massage and another bath soak soon! Thank you for a wonderful el fresca bath experience. It began around sunset and I enjoyed the lights of the bridge and city by the time I got out. By the way, the tub water remained hot throughout - very impressed! Dinner downstairs at Terrene was also delicious! If you live in the city or are visiting, definitely visit the Bamford Wellness Spa! Thank you again Amal!
