Balanced Family Academy of Clintonville

Our kids have been going to BFAC for daycare and preschool for the last 6 months and they've been having a blast. They come home excited to talk about all of the fun they had that day. They've also developed so much by being out and around other kids their own age. Like any daycare scenario, you're paying a pretty penny, but the value is absolutely there. They take care of absolutely everything the kids need all day, from diapers to meals. We only currently send our kids two days a week but are actively looking at adding more days because they like it so much!

Our kids have been going to BFAC for 6 months now after being with family for 3 years, and they have adjusted really well! The first few weeks were scary for our kids (and us), but that was to be expected. We were greeted with warmness, understanding, and such care as to making the transition as easy as possible. The teachers are absolutely amazing (sad that some of kids favorites are gone), but they are all so loving, warm, fun, and just feel like an extension of the family. Definitely calms our worries--we know our kids are in great hands. We are so thankful.

We have had an overwhelmingly positive experience at Balanced Family Academy in Clintonville. The teachers and staff have been excellent and professional in every way. We joined Balancer Family Academy after being unhappy at other daycare companies in the area. The quality of education, communication, interaction, nutrition, and experience at Balanced Family Academy in Clintonville has exceeded our already high level of expectations in every way. So much so that we moved this past year from Clintonville to Worthington, but wanted to make sure we found our new home that was still a easy commute to BFAC so that our child could continue to attend there. Great appreciation to everyone at Balanced Family Academy in Clintonville and please keep up the great work!

BFA Clintonville has truly been a second home to our family. With two children attending over the past six years, this community has become part of our daily life, and we have loved every moment. The teachers and staff don’t just recognize us — they know us. They greet our kids with genuine joy, call each of us by name, and make every drop-off and pick-up feel like we’re leaving our children with family. Our kids have grown in ways we never expected — eating meals they’d never touch at home, flourishing under a curriculum that is thoughtful, engaging, and unlike anything we’ve seen elsewhere, and becoming fully confident and kindergarten-ready. The environment is warm, structured, and safe, and we have always felt an incredible peace of mind knowing our children are cared for with such intention and heart. We would choose BFA again and again without hesitation. As our youngest prepares to head to kindergarten, our hearts will be incredibly heavy when we have to say goodbye. This place has shaped our children, supported us as parents, and given our family years of memories we will always be grateful for. BFA Clintonville is truly something special. Highly, highly recommend.

My four year old daughter has been attending BFAC since she was an infant, and it has been an invaluable part of our village in helping to raise her to be the wonderful young person she is. All of the staff - the teachers, assistant teachers, admin, and chef alike - are genuinely happy to be there and love the children. They go above and beyond to make us feel special and valued - from a warm greeting at the door, to making connections in casual conversations, to getting my daughter from her classroom and bringing her out to the car for me when I'm not physically able to go inside and get her myself. My child loves going to school, and is happy at both drop off and pick up. She has especially loved music class, yoga, Fit & Fun, and Nature Time! Her classmates and their families are lovely too, and BFAC does a nice job of building a sense of community with special events like their annual Parking Lot Party, Mother's Day/Father's Day events, Trunk-or-Treat, and more! They also give back to the community, which is a great lesson for the littles (i.e. collecting items for children in foster care), and they provide conveniences for parents such as a flu shot clinic and Wednesday Dinners. The Wednesday Dinners are the BEST! By simply completing a Google form over the weekend, I can pick up dinner for my family in the fridge by the front door when I pick up my child, and have a delicious (seriously delicious) meal covered every Wednesday evening. The CareDay app is easy to navigate, and it's a great way to see what my child is doing in the classroom. My child's progress is also shared regularly with progress reports, and I know that I can go to my child's teacher and/or admin if I ever have any questions or concerns. As a veteran kindergarten teacher of 20 years, I am 100% confident that my child will be kindergarten-ready by the time she "graduates" from BFAC. Balanced Family Academy of Clintonville is the "Gold Standard" in childcare!!
