sooo disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan because I saw good reviews & I'm a huge fan. Sauce tasted good on the pasta but as I tried to cut into the chicken it was absurdly tough. tasted it & it tasted either over cooked, rubbery,& or old. Sad because the portion size was good. Wife came home and asked what the smell was. told her I had to throw out my dinner & she said it smelt like old frying oil. Will not likely order from here again. Unfortunate

My wife is from Providence but we live in Connecticut and visit regularly. We always try to stop at Angelo's for the calimari and a quick bite before heading home. Sometimes we bring family and always have a great meal and a lot of fun. Yesterday we decided to meet an old friend there bc we had been telling him how great the place is and he never had been there even though he lives in the area. That's when this goes down hill. The food came out pretty fast although I did ask the waiter for extra napkins which never arrived. I had my favorite, the braciole over pasta which I always ask for some kicked up hot cherry peppers in the sauce which they did well but there was too much salt. My wife had the pasta al la gricia. It was on a bed of pepper but way too much pepper. It was dry and way over salted with a few specs of guanciale. She is sorry she didn't say anything about it to the server. I am sorry I didn't say anything either so I am just chalking it up to one bad meal out of a hundred plus.

Got the sausage special pasta- little watery but so delicious and fresh! Jared was an amazing server! Great atmosphere and service ! Specialty cocktail supports community efforts cool to see a restaurant that cares❤️!

Fabulous place to eat with the best homemade Italian food! Locally family owned restaurant with the nicest people. Thera was our wonderful waitress she did such a great job and she had perfect recommendations- thank you again Thera!

What a gem in the heart of federal hill.. funny how fate brings you to a place. Tried to go to two other recommended places, both of which had long waits, however so glad they did because otherwise we would’ve missed out on this wonderful place. Everything about it- service, atmosphere, food, drinks - were great!! super affordable and excellent flavor. Great crowd and staff too. Everyone working was very attentive and had great recommendations with the food and beer. Would HIGHLY recommend this place and will definitely be back!! Pay Big Rob a visit at the bar; he’s great!! As is his Barback (not sure his name but younger guy who was great too). Thanks for the great experience, food, and time!! We had the calamari (excellent and unique flavor), house salad with the house dressing, the drunken chicken (phenomenal) and the tortellini (excellent as well).
