Great place for an after-work workout. Plenty of space ans equipment. Nice river and downtown view.

I want to take a moment to thank the staff at Winston Family YMCA. I've not gotten to visit before but had all 5 grandkids this weekend and it's too cold and rainy to get in our own pool so I was looking for an indoor pool. We were pleasantly surprised that the first trial visit was at no cost. But what was truly impressive was the staff working on the afternoon of 2/27/26. The two men at the front desk were so patient with us while we tried to herd kids, sign papers, look for a bathroom, check out the pool. Then when I locked myself out of the locker a kind female staff member came and showed us how to use it. And finally the life guard staff was so great! They tested the kid's swimming skills, explained the rules and even interacted with the kids when they asked for diving toys or had questions. We really enjoyed our visit and found it to be a clean, well managed facility with staff that were friendly and helpful. Thank you for the great experience!

The YMCA will always hold a special place in my heart because I’ve been going here since I was a kid but something needs to be done about the hours! I have considered switching gym multiple times due to how early the gym closes. Every gym closes 10pm or later at this point. Other than that, this gym is perfect! Super nice staff and equipment!

From the magnificent view of the StJohns river to the heart warming welcoming staff and amazing volunteers the Winston YMCA is the place to get fit, have fun, and stay healthy. A wonderfully designed facility from the indoor pool to the massage chairs, well spaced locker rooms and large weight room this location is the best gym in riverside and downtown! A warm thank to Alexis for her smile and always kind greeting. You guys are amazing!

A great place to get fit or stay fit. I really like the indoor track. The second photo is part of the view from the track. It's a large facility with lots of equipment to use. They also have personal trainers. The third photo is me showing proof to my adult kids that I get out and do things.

From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is well cared for—the cleanliness is top-notch, and the staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Whether you’re here for a workout, a swim, or just to unwind, there’s something for everyone. The variety of amenities is impressive, from the spacious gym and group fitness classes to the pool and family-friendly programs. While I absolutely love the experience, I do wish the hours were a bit more extended to accommodate different schedules. That being said, the positive energy, excellent facilities, and sense of community make this YMCA a great place to stay active and connected. Highly recommended!
