Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar

So yummy! We got the house made chips, steak frites (steak and fries), whiskey cake, and a salad. The whiskey cake was drool worthy! It was decadent, pecans on top of a spice cake with a pour over vanilla sauce and homemade whip cream. That alone made it a must try. 😋 All else was flavorful and fresh. Steak was tender and cut well. Love the seasoning on the fries, rosemary and Parmesan. We ordered to go and it was still just as good. Service was friendly, they did forget utensils, but this food was too good to let that be a fault. The restaurant was decorated nicely, going in would be worth it and they have a patio area. I would say this a must try!

Drinks yummy and accurate to order 7. Inside had a nice feel and not loud music or TVs everywhere Cons None really to speak of. Final Thoughts: A bit pricy but also super pleasant experience (well worth it too!) and we will be returning and will bring others.

Always a great experience here. This place just consistently delivers. We had the cauliflower salad,beautiful presentation with that char and all the colors. Fresh, flavorful, and a great starter. The pork chop was perfectly cooked, came with a caramelized apple and greens on the side. Hearty and satisfying. And if you go, you absolutely MUST get the whiskey cake—even if you're stuffed, take it home. It's the namesake for a reason. Great food, great vibes, never disappoints.

Its been years since I was able to eat at Whiskey Cakes! We are in town for a volleyball tournament and wanted some good food. So the daughter and I headed on over to see if its still as good as I remember. Crab cake appetizer. You only get 1 but it had some great flavor with the remoulade sauce. The only negative was the tiny pieced shell in the crab cake. Unfortunately thats almost a given for fresh pulled crab meat. Farm salad was very fresh and had a great dressing. I believe it was a white balsamic vinaigrette. I ordered the ribeye,With garlicky spinach. The steak had great flavor. I wish it would have been more tender. But overall, the cut of steak was really good. My daughter ordered the New York strip with fingerling potatoes. The way she demolished that steak tells me that she was hungry and that it was delicious. Naturally, we ordered the whiskey cake for dessert and it did not disappoint. It was everything I remembered. From the spiced pecans to the bourbon cream sauce. I hope to stop by before I leave town and get another one for the road!

We had a great time! This is our second visit. This time we just asked for the first available table, and next time I will know to ask for the booth. The backs of the booths are high, and it feel very private. We had a nice table but it was in more in the open, and I would have preferred a bit more privacy. The service is wonderful and so it the food! We enjoyed it so much. T Ordering dessert is a must! Pair the Whiskey Cake with the french press coffee and its so good! I highly recommend it. Also the Cowboy Ribeye for 2 is delicious and probably all we will order in the future!
