Villa Sport Fitness - Park Center

They changed the name and made a few improvements to restrooms and took out racketball court to expand the weight room which is all good. The cleanliness has gotten worse especially upstairs where they use to vacuum and tidy up but apparently that’s out. And it’s the same old equipment. But a reasonable price for a place to workout.

Very happy with my experience here. Been here since golds owned it. l like the new lockers. And glad the saunas have been open every time I come in. Miss my old trainer here. The new one that was transferred to me was mega lame. But Mckenzie was really helpful for me during my back rehab last year.

I just recently joined Villa Sport Fitness - Parkcenter and love it so much! Everyone has been super nice and welcoming to me. They have all the machines, dumbbells and equipment you would need! I also love that they have a pool and group exercise classes. The building is very clean and the equipment is well maintained. I have really enjoyed the women’s only room. The locker rooms are really nice and you can tell they’ve been redone recently from the remodel. I love that you can pick a locker and set your own combo and don’t need to bring your own lock. Highly recommend checking Villa Sport out!

Love my trainer!!!! She is why I stay and the proximity to my home. but it would be really nice if they would replace some of the old equipment that continually breaks down or has split and torn seats and pads or handles that have protective covering that keeps sliding all the way down that you grab the oily dirty metal handle instead of protective covering, which needs to be replaced Not pulled back up, and hold off on putting in a room with red light and other therapies that the VIP members can use which is an additional cost. The new restrooms are nice but again I only use the bathroom, preference would be new and improved equipment, But they are pretty. and then there’s the elimination of fobs, Which I unlike 80% of the members lol am not addicted to their phone and I don’t sit on a piece of equipment and scan the phone And use it at either a seat or extending the time on that machine dramatically, But not being able to use a fob coming in now has everyone bring their phones in; Well, except me I just go to the front desk and have them look up my phone number and if no one is there, I just go in. But all this being said, it is an inexpensive membership and convenient.

This is by far my favorite Villa Sport location, I love the big windows facing the mountains - such a pretty view to work out with. It definitely gets packed at certain hours but if you go outside of early morning or the after work crowd hours, there are usually plenty of machines and I rarely see them out of order. I also love using the steam room and hydro massage chairs at the end of every workout. The kids club is a bonus too for when kiddos are out of school!
