When I learned that a lawsuit had been filed against our family business of 22 years, I was out of the country with only days to respond. By sheer luck, I came across Mr. Ted Roe and Veritas Business Law. Ted took on the case immediately and was able to calm me during what was an extremely anxiety-filled time. Despite my being overseas, Ted continued to work closely with me—mostly via email due to the time difference—and, in what I can only assume was record time, successfully had our business removed from the case entirely before I even returned from my trip. For the first time in my life, someone is threatening to sue me. The flood of emotions that come with such a threat is overwhelming. Even on a baseless and meritless claim, the threat feels overwhelming. When I called Veritas, Mr. Theodore (Ted) Roe answered the phone himself. It's scary when you need a lawyer, but I can say that Ted and the team at Veritas Business Law made it a much easier experience. When an auto-mechanic informed me (after months of me using public transit) that the engine needed to fix my car was not available, I asked for a refund. The auto mechanic refused to give me my money back, and refused to let me retrieve my vehicle. After I contacted the BBB, the auto mechanic damaged my car intentionally, and parked it next to a fire hydrant. I've never had to sue somebody before.
