This place is the best! They did a seminar yesterday and all the staff and facilities were top notch. After our HYROX race Graham the owner let us use the showers and it was the closest thing to heaven I have ever experienced!! Thank you and check them out :)

I went to Urban Athletic for the second time today. The first time, I wrote a five-star yelp review. This time, I was able to park right outside the front door for the second time. We had a different coach today, this one every bit as good as the other one. So this being my second "Cross Fit" experience, my impression is that while this sounds like a thing for people who are "in training", it's really a very open environment for beginners and pros alike. I am impressed at the non-judgmental atmosphere. You're in a class together being helped by a coach, and some people are doing heavy weights and some are doing light weights; some people are very quick to understand the next move and some, like myself, are a bit lost - but no one cares. It's not like people just give you your space and don't make you feel stupid - they really just don't care. No one judges you, not the other people in the classes, not the coaches, who have been , by the way, extremely attentive both times I've been there, and extremely accommodating. Come to a class, do your thing your way, whether you want to work to near exhaustion, or you want to just take it easy and get through your first or second class. It's a good experience, it's fun, it's a good workout, I bought a package and will return.

I signed up for the gym about two weeks ago and have been liking it so far. I used to just do weight lifting and strength training on my own in another gym, and was looking for a new gym focusing more on classes. The classes that UAC offers are great, with a balanced approach combining strength, cardio and mobility, and an emphasis on technique. They also have Hyrox classes for those who want to participate in the Hyrox competition. The coaches are experienced and attentive during classes (shout out to Graham!), and other members are friendly forging a sense of community. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Urban Athletic Club for about a month now, and I’m really impressed. The coaches are excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. From day one, the environment felt welcoming and non-intimidating, which made it easy to jump into workouts even as a newer member. The other members are just as friendly, creating a great community vibe. The gym is well-equipped, clean, and has convenient hours that fit my schedule. This is a great place to train. I’d absolutely recommend Urban Athletic Club!

I flew into DC for a week and was looking for a place to train. I contacted the Urban Athletic Club. They were extremely responsive and professional. They worked a deal for the week and gave me a code to train whenever I was able. I was in the gym every single day of my trip. It is empty or only a few clients 90% of the time. It's a dungeon where you can train the way you want. It's freaking fantastic. 8 squat racks plus all the Rogue bars you could imagine. Just look at the pictures... Drop your gym, join the Urban Athletic Club!
