A review should be totally transparent. I do want to start with one negative. My appointment was for 1:30 and I wasn't sitting in the chair until 2:05PM. For future appointments, after my experience - I will assume that my appointment time is an estimate and also a way to save my place in line. So that is the "bad". The great, is that once I was in the chair, I was in for the best haircut and hot towel shave of my life. Juan is by far the most skilled barber I have ever received a haircut from. I had been watching ASMR YouTube videos of barber straight shaves, and I had been wanting to get one for so long. While my experience was not nearly as fancy, it was still a phenomenal one. No irritation, my face hasn't been this smooth since before I started puberty. I am sure it is challenging to stay on schedule when you are giving each customer your absolute best and paying attention to every detail. Funny thing is, I almost considered walking out. I am so glad that I didn't. Patience is a wonderful thing! Thanks, Juan. PS - I was observing the other barbers, and I have a feeling that you can't go wrong with whoever cuts your hair. They all seem insanely skilled.

Stopped in today for a straight razor shave and a haircut. Steven took great care of me. Best straight razor I’ve had in years. And a haircut that took 5 years off my appearance. I’ll be back!

Juan is the man!!! I travel a lot for work, for multiple months at a time and it’s always a challenge finding a barber at each city and state I go to. I found Juan pretty early into my arrival to Columbus, Ohio. And it’s been so close, just a 3 minute walk for me, how convenient? I’m also impressed on how talented Juan is!! I’ve gone to him for a cut at least 10-15 times (I just checked my bank statement lol) and never been disappointed! Even when I leave own, I will be back to Juan whenever I visit Columbus. guaranteed! 10/10! Highly recommend booking a fresh cut with Juan. Turners barber shop is the only place one needs to know about when looking for a haircut. Not only is the environment welcoming, I leave knowing I have the best cut in town!! An absolute 10 out of 10 experience. Cierra (the owner) cuts my hair every time! She remembered everything that I like from the time before and I get a solid hour of relaxing.. knowing I’m in the best studio and best hands in all of Columbus! Her style and design makes me leave the shop with HIGH confidence and a little pep in my step! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
