The Neighborly Handyman

We just finished our third separate project with The Neighborly Handyman (Kurt and Amanda) and they hit it out of the park on this project, just like they did with the other two projects. Originally, we needed to have existing cabinets above our old refrigerator removed, because the new fridge would not fit under those cabinets. Kurt performed that removal quickly and efficiently. We then discovered that the old fridge had a water leak that necessitated the removal and replacement of some drywall, wood flooring, and a kitchen cabinet. Kurt and Amanda did all of the carpentry work to install the new cabinet and reinstall the existing quartz countertop. They also coordinated the painting of the new cabinet to match the cabinets in the rest of the kitchen, and the removal and the replacement of the damaged drywall. Kurt and Amanda also worked with our flooring contractor to get the new wood flooring installed after Kurt's work was completed. We were very impressed again with the attention to detail, the communication provided throughout the project, and the timely completion of this project. We would recommend Kurt and Amanda (The Neighborly Handyman) to anyone who needs quality work done in their home. We thoroughly trust them. That is why we have called on them for three separate projects. FIVE STARS!!!

We had 2 home projects for Kurt and Amanda. We were thrilled with the service that they provided and both could not have been executed any better. They were on-time, professional, and communicated exactly what they were doing and why. We were in desperate need of an updated stair case railing as our existing rails had been damaged and were a safety concern. We reached out to Kurt and Amanda to see if they could help. We showed them our inspiration picture and that was all they needed. The transformation is magnificent and we are obsessed. He and Amanda were great in keeping us up to date with progress and status. The painters, drywallers and railing installers were very professional, timely and always made sure they left no mess behind. I highly recommend the Neighborly Handyman and will most definitely use them again!

Curt and Amanda did an amazing job helping with some of our projects inside and outside. Would Highly recommend them. They are professional, timely and their finishing work is the best I have seen! Never seen a more organized van either. We will be working with them again. They helped with the outdoor space for the pool and the bathroom.

Absolutely excellent experience. Kurt is just a top notch person to start with. Beyond the excellent work he does, he communicates extremely well on top of being very personable, which is often overlooked and not always the easiest attribute to come across. I first hired Kurt to do a privacy fence for me which unfortunately we could not get a permit for so we had him stain our deck instead. He advised us of the best stain to go with and made sure we knew and understood everything about the process. Our home is only a year old but it was time to get the deck protected and he made sure this was long term. The deck is just beautiful. It stands out so much in our neighborhood. Kurt was quick, efficient, timely and just did top notch work. I have seen his other work that he's done on pictures as well and its all excellent. Beyond all of this, Kurt helped me with lawn tips and installed my lawn striping kit free of charge... He went out of his way to make sure I was happy and always made sure that both my wife and I got everything we expected and more... To say I recommend him is an understatement. I will absolutely be using him for any future jobs that I have... Thanks Kurt!!
