Excellent experience from start to finish! Mike gave a great impression from the start and we knew we had the right guy for the job done. The experience actually exceeded our expectations. Mike and his team were super quick to list the property, considerate of our requests, did excellent negotiation for us , and got our place sold at a price that pleased us. All this with great communication throughout and from contract execution to closing in only 25 days (even with a buyer financing which usually takes long)! We highly recommend Mike and his team!

Very disappointed with my experience working with Katie McCann of the Mike McCann Team. My partner and I toured a unit twice with her colleague Leia, and fell in love with the property. It had been on the market for 3 months with zero applications and we couldn’t believe our luck in finding it. We submitted our applications on the unit 1/5, and heard nothing back via phone or email. I left a voicemail 1/8 following up to determine if they needed any further information, and once again received no response. Saturday 1/10, I received a mass-message through zillow “checking in” about my search and requesting a phone call to discuss my real estate goals. When I provided times I would be available to get on the phone and discuss the prior submitted application, I received no response. I only found out they had chosen a different applicant when I texted to follow up Monday 1/12. When I asked a clarifying question about the rejection, I once again received no response. Today, 1/18, I received this message through Zillow stating “it seems you have given up on my real estate goals at this time”. No, I chose to work with an agent who was responsive and timely in their communication. We ended up finding a full rowhome with better amenities at a lower price, and never went more than 24 hours without communication from the listing agent and property management company. If you are a property owner listing with Katie, and the unit has been sitting vacant for months, it’s likely because of interactions like this. Perhaps try listing with a different agency.

My wife and I went with McCann thinking we would get a knowledgeable realtor. Instead we got a person who would echo whatever we thought to make a sale. Now that I purchased my home and have become more informed about row homes I am shocked I listened to have the stuff our Realor Asa Kurland had to say about comps and the state of the house. I over payed for sure and should’ve been much more conservative and understood the ages of Windows, lintels, siding, and pay more attention to the quality of renovation. I saw we had an open chimney with the neighbor and in my ignorance listened to him and the inspector tell me I just needed a cap. Not considering what kindof damage open rain could have done to a home in the decades it was exposed. In my last 3 months of owning a row home I learned I would have not purchased it at this price and would have used better comps. Not sure how a realtor who worked years in Philly would be so uninformed. He pushed me to not go for full credit when I should have gone for lower price plus credit. Inform yourself before buying a house and use these realtors just to make an offer.
