I did not want to use blood in my surgery but they refused to honor my request. They offered the machine called a cell saver which recycles your own blood in your body which is not supposed to be used in cancer patients since it can spread the cancer throughout the body. They are a religious hospital that does not respect other people's religious beliefs. I had to keep following up to get answers to questions and 2 weeks later still don't have answers. I even got a patient advocate involved and still no answer, so I am looking elsewhere for my surgery. They were a waste of time.

When I left Dr. Im office I felt comfortable that I am in the right hands. He answered all my questions and the staff was very friendly and helpful also.

Excellent care. No wait time, very personal attention and she took her time with me. Very clear communications and thoughtfully answered all my questions. Very friendly and easy to talk to her and I trust that I am in good hands medically. I highly recommend.

I received outstanding care from the moment I checked in. Every step was thoroughly explained so I knew what to expect. I was never alone. When I awoke after the procedure, a nurse was sitting by my side and didn't leave until I was fully alert. I am very pleased with the care I received at Mercy.
