I’ve been a client at Steel Blade for years and have generally had very good experiences. After my visit on January 27, I had some concerns about part of the service and reached out to the shop to address them. I appreciated that the team followed up and worked with me toward a resolution. The owners ultimately provided a credit card refund for the portion of the service in question, which I feel was a fair and appropriate solution. I’m grateful for their willingness to address the situation and make it right. I’ve valued this shop for a long time and appreciate the effort to resolve the issue professionally. Thank you to the Steel Blade team for taking care of it.

Alex was great. Quick, high quality haircut without a bunch of unnecessary fluff. I went back to work afterwards and received so many compliments! I’ll definitely be back and I’ll schedule with Alex again.

I had the best experience of my life Friday the 20th of February. My stylist, Nikki did an amazing job. She was knowledgeable, patient, and cut my hair better than I expected even though she had a horrible experience prior to my appointment. I would highly recommend anyone who wants a quality haircut with patient staff to come into the shop. I was treated like royalty even though I had a late appointment. Staff greeted me with respect and didn’t rush me even though it was close to closing. Thank you to the staff for your professionalism patience and kindness. I can’t wait to book again!!!!!!!

One of the true gems in Albuquerque. Both of the owners are locals who take pride in providing an exceptional experience for their patrons. You really feel welcomed here from the minute you walk in the door & there is a stylist taylored for everyone. The staff is extremely friendly & professional & the environment is warm & relaxing. Definately a step above the commercial franchises. They provide a wide array of services from haircuts, (razor) beard trims, facials, scalp treatments, hair coloring, etc. A co-worker of mine recommended this place to me, & my stylist April was amazing. She really has a passion for haircutting & it shows in her work. If you like supporting local businesses & are looking for a place to fulfill your grooming & styling needs, give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I highly recommend this amazing business. My husband has been a client since the beginning. He sees Brandi, one of the two owners, and they have forged a wonderful friendship and bond. While the company is owned by two marvelous women…let me be clear- they poured their time, thoughts and efforts into everything here. The facility is beautiful and all the professionals here know how to be exceptional. The quality and services here are exactly what you need and will want after your first visit.
