I liked Dr.Monika Patel from the moment I met her. Her professionalism, personable yet direct manner made me feel like I would be in good hands. She followed that up with talking to my Daughter on the phone one hour after my daughter called. She put all of my concerns at ease. Most importantly, my Sinus uplift & tooth extraction was so successful🙏 that I went shopping at the mall after surgery! I recommend this wonderful Doctor to everyone I care about. From googling oral surgeons to having the most seamless experience with dentistry and oral surgery, Staten Island Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery could not have been more communicative or efficient! From reception staff, dental assistants to doctors the entire office is ran like a tight ship. Before my surgery Dr. Lam reached out to briefly discuss some pre-op orders, which was so appreciated and welcome from a doctor. Dr. Li had done my same day consult & surgery, she could not have communicated more clearly, effectively or warmly. This staff means business and quality care. From start to finish- I’d recommend this practice to virtually anyone, especially those who fear the dentist- your experience with them may change your mind on dentistry forever.

Dr Lam is absolutely amazing. The entire team and staff are excellent. I was told Dr Lam wasn’t excepting new patients at first then I lucked out and was able to see her. I knew immediately I found the best surgeon for my dental work. Dr Patel is also amazing. Anesthesiologist Dr Jabbour was so patient and kind. I can’t say enough good things about the entire practice. I experienced No pain no anxiety just a great experience overall.

As a new patient I had a wonderful experience. From my first point of interaction the front desk staff was delightful and welcoming. There was no wait time for Sean the dental assistant who brought me in for the pre appointment information and xray, he was a gem! He was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to my questions and concerns. And Dr. Hoffman was amazing, he was incredibly nice and thorough in explaining and providing his expert advice! I’d highly recommend this medical group to anyone looking for oral & maxillofacial services.

Dr.Goodenough was my surgeon and he did great. At first I read the reviews and didn’t think he was real because of his last name, lol. But he is! I had my Mandibular wisdom removed, and received an ice pack and meds. My jaw was swollen a bit for about 5 days, and it was back to normal by day 5. The first 2 days were the worst for me, day 1 specifically. Everyone I encountered during my procedure was very friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend this office. And if you’re on the fence or skeptical about coming here.. DONT BE! I didn’t feel a thing before or during my procedure; I was knocked out completely. The pain kicked in around 2 hours after my procedure once I was home. But the pain meds took care of that.
