Snap Fitness Jacksonville

I was looking for a nice gym close to home to join as I live in downtown Jax and very few are nearby. I walked in to snap fitness on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I inquired about a day pass/ paid pass or a guest pass only to be told that I could not use the facility. I was told only friends and family members of guests are allowed. Who knows, maybe I would have made a member friend had I been allowed to work out and see if this is a health club I'd like to join. There was only a few people there at the time. I've been involved in customer service and as well as professional trainer in the fitness industry for well over 20 years, and I've never been involved in such a cold interaction. I currently work with elderly clients in their home and do rehab, function, and assisted stretching. I'll make certain for the rest of my life that no one ever has to feel shunned, turned away and told they aren't allowed to participate. I'll also make sure that anyone who asks me about exercise and local gyms know how horrible and discriminatory Snap fitness Jax is. Clearly they don't want a nice community or new members

I met the owner, Judy, the day I signed up, and it’s was nice to talk with her and great to know Snap is a locally owned and managed gym. The recent renovation was a nice upgrade to the space. I often see the general manager, Nate, cleaning up, organizing equipment, and helping people. Everyone is friendly, and the trainers, like Kobey, add a lot to the environment. I’m grateful to have such a nice facility in the community. I’ve never joined a gym and stuck with it before, but now, nine months in, we’ve stayed consistent as a family. The easy access and friendly environment have been a huge part of our success.

Love coming to snap. Due to work and kids I come in a lot of times either very late at night or very early in the morning. When I do I usually see Antonio working. He’s always a joy to talk to , plus the gym is always spotless and in great condition when he’s done cleaning. Great local gym!

Snap fitness is the perfect mix of a small town gym with mainstream/chain gym efficiency. Snap is a hole in the wall where almost everyone knows everyone’s face, making it great for community building and familiarity. But it’s not too small to where it feels suffocating or ineffective. There is plenty of equipment to achieve all your fitness goals. For a year I traveled from oak leaf to work out at snap fitness for both the people and the atmosphere. I highly recommend this gym to everyone both locally and at a distance.

I really enjoy going to this gym because it is always very clean, there are many different machines, and the staff is very friendly. I would especially like to highlight Coach Kelly. I have been training with her for three months now. I have noticed progress in weight loss, as well as strengthened muscles, and I have become much more resilient. What I value most is that Kelly always prepares a personalized exercise routine for me, which helps to keep our workouts diverse. I always look forward to going to the gym with great pleasure.
