Smith Hill Early Childhood

Our family has benefitted greatly from our child's time at Smith Hill. The teaching staff here are wonderful and the school program and academics are great. The families and kids that attend this school are all lovely and kind, and our daughter absolutely loves the friends she has made here. We have been pleased to find such an awesome preschool that also reflects the ethnic and class diversity of our city: an important consideration for us when looking for a school. To be honest, we almost passed on this location because the neighboring spaces seemed so rundown (a few abandoned buildings nearby on Smith street, the old elementary next door was demolished and is under construction, etc) but we are glad we didn't judge this book by its cover because this school is an absolute gem -- highly recommend Smith Hill ECLC!

Great school, the teachers are the best, all the personal who work there is great, they make you feel like family. 2 of my kids have been at the program in this school and it is great, they learned so much, the teachers plan fun activities for the kids every day, they are passionite and caring for the kids. Even during the COVID pandemic, they were very profesional with cleaning and caring for the safety of the kids. I only have good things to say about this school and I have recomended this school to family, friends and neigbors.

I've had all positive experience from my child's 1st day of school to the very end. Teachers and office administrators are all nice willing to work with your child's needs. My child absolutely loves it there and still asks to go even on days off. Definitely recommend anyone that has a child entering preschool.

I have sent all three of my children to Smith Hill ECLC, each with different strengths and needs and the teachers at smith hill have been able to help each one of them thrive. The teachers get to know your child so they can best reach them, adapting to every kid’s unique learning style. The communication between staff and families has always been phenomenal and their attention to detail makes me comfortable enough to send even my child with severe food allergies, knowing that he is in good hands. Everyday that my children are at smith hill, I know they are happy, safe, learning, and well cared for. I would recommend smith hill eclc to any parent looking for a safe, fun, quality daycare/learning environment for their child.

I enrolled my child into this school this year and I’m satisfied with my choice. The teachers are always hands-on with her she always comes home with her daily activity papers, they taught her how to spell out her name and she loves to sing to me the new songs she has learned in class. I enjoy the parent teacher conferences they have with me showing her progress. i have nothing but positive words to say about this learning center and i feel good knowing my child is in great hands.
