Top notch service from the front of the house (lounge) to the barbering services. Highly recommend and hard to beat a free drink AND free parking uptown when you have the membership. Even if you're not here for a haircut, the bar selection is great and the prices are amazing relative to anywhere else uptown.

Very good experience. Chill vibe. A place where you can have real conversation, get a really quality haircut, and hang out and have a drink with other customers. I just moved to Charlotte for work, and went here for a haircut before my first day. The staff is incredibly friendly, the haircut was great, and the atmosphere was really strong. You pay a little bit of a premium, but honestly, not bad for what you get. For me, haircuts can be annoying. I've had an idea for a long time that there should be a device created that automatically cuts your hair the exact way you want it so that you get the same cut every time, you don't have to even talk to people to get it done or explain, and you're in and out. Since that still doesn't exist, Scissors & Scotch is the way to go. Rather than rushing in and out for an average haircut and then leaving with loose hairs everywhere and needing to go home and shower before you can do anything else ... you go to Scissors & Scotch and make it a fun outing. They do a full shampoo and hot towel treatment so you don't have the loose hairs afterward, they take their time and even go back and correct minor things they notice after the hair washing, and then they'll style it for you to ensure the haircut is exactly what you want (not a guessing game, where you get home later and wash and style it only to realize it's not really what you wanted). It may or may not be for you, but if you're a guy looking for a new spot to get your haircut, I'd highly encourage you to check this place out. You may even make a new friend at the bar like I did.

They burned the back of my neck, the lines look super unprofessional and it took over two weeks to heal, NEVER going back. They did not fully refund me for this terrible haircut either. They also continued charging me for a membership fee that I did not use, I literally feel like I got scammed. Stay away!! **Response to your comment: I’m a very busy man and totally forgot to call and complain because I have a lot going on, I had this picture taken the day of the haircut (new picture with time stamp attached).

Friendly staff, good drinks, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. We grabbed an IPA and a Casamigos shot and ended up coming back after the Panthers game. The space is low-key but lively, and it’s a perfect spot to unwind without a haircut. Highly recommended.

Barber was kind but I was never shown back of my head. Went home to have my wife tell me that the barber didn’t blend it well. I then went to Uptown Cuts to get it fixed. See before and after pics. Very upset that they would allow their clients to walk out the shop like this. If it hadn’t been for my wife I would’ve shown up to the wedding looking like a fool!
