Salt Lake Proper Barber

I found this barber online while traveling thru Salt Lake City. I scheduled an appointment with Christian. Christian was great and the shop has an awesome vibe. The next day I realized I needed some hair care products for travel. Went back to the shop and Fletch assisted me. Fletch was very knowledge able and absolutely great to talk with. Highly recommend this shop.

Salt Lake Proper Barber provides a truly first-class experience. I have been seeing Christian for about 6 months now, and he has completely changed my haircare routine and styling. Roo is my absolute favorite barber. I’ve tried so many cuts with so many stylists and she is the only person I’ve returned to. Her ability to recognize your hair type and create a bespoke style perfect for you is so rare in a one-size-fits-all world. She is the only person I trust to cut both mine and my husband’s hair before all of our major events (including our wedding)!!

Found this shop on Google Maps and easily booked an appointment for the following day with Christian. I have a tradition to send my husband for a local haircut while we are traveling. I love to find new and exciting places to get my hubs looking his best. After sending him here much to my surprise he came back looking ten years younger! I loved the attention to detail with all his little weird hairs well groomed (or totally removed!) added bonus he smelled great. Asking for his opinion he said he thoroughly enjoyed the experience at the shop and thought Christian did a fantastic job. My husband also appreciated the advice on how to tame his naturally curly yet aging hair from Christian. Worth the cost. Exactly as advertised. Deserving of 5 stars. Thanks Christian.

I was on the search for a barber who I could unequivocally trust and continue to come back to with the same consistent results that I was genuinely happy with. My first time here with Dom was an experience that I hadn't had before. She took her time, and we really had a conversation about my hair, what I wanted out of it, how I should be taking care of it and styling it. It was the most I learned about my hair in my life, and was so informative and helpful. Since then, there have been iterative adjustments that have just fine tuned what I wanted. I cannot recommend this place or Dom enough. The full hour experience means you're never being rushed out of the chair, and similarly that they're never rushed and take their time to deliver a high quality, consistent haircut that you want. If you're able to get on their schedule, lock in that appointment and be sure to keep coming back. You won't regret it!
